- Motion filed to dismiss charges against R' Binyomin Kubani.
Faa reports Less than 24 hours since R' Binyomin's release, Mr. Jacobovitch today filed a formal motion in Superior Court seeking a complete dismissal of the pending criminal charges. The motion argues extremely plainly that the allegations against Mr. Kubani do not meet the legal standards required under the applicable statute, and that the facts — even as described by law enforcement do not support any finding of criminal intent or unlawful conduct. The filing urges the court to dismiss the case based on well-established legal precedent. Full story

Therefore, it is very appropriate to refrain from eating it on weekdays, in order to properly honor Shabbos with this special dish. Especially since it is not considered a healthy food, and only the sanctity of Shabbos imbues it with blessing and delight, as well as protection for the one who eats it.”

ReplyDeleteI wonder if Millers job will conflict with his Lakewood Jobs... Asking for a friend
ReplyDeleteTalking About Menashe - haven't seen him around with the latest photo ops?
DeleteMust be nice to have contacts in Lakewood/Ocean County.
DeleteHe's on military deployment.
DeleteSo Menash and his buddies will raise taxes next month on poor lakewood youngeleit causing them to pay out another 1000 a year they don't have while he gets himself another desk job on top of all the other ones.
ReplyDeleteHow about they spread the wealth and give these jobs out to people that need it.
Why do we suffer from such blatant corruption???
It's not corruption, he is not hiding anything. It's we suckers who voted for him and continue to do so again and again. Unless we stop the cycle, it will continue.
DeleteWhat are you saying? Menashe is a yungerman like everyone else.
DeleteHa ha Then so is Mayor Coles
DeleteRestaurant owner made the post on LinkedIn not Facebook. Although sadly people treat it like a frum alternative to Facebook and post narishkeit
ReplyDeleteMilker & Gonniff incorporated
ReplyDeleteWhy is today's press release from the police department from Captain Gregory Staffordsmith, where is the chief?
ReplyDeleteWould the Lakewood police issue a statement about the house in Raintree that was loaded with weapons and ammo that took police many hours to empty it out.
ReplyDeleteWas there a danger to the community is there a threat?
Why did TLS not report on that story??
How can Menash hold so many public jobs at once paid for by tax payers
ReplyDeleteDeputy mayor in Lakewood
Ocean county utility authority
Chemed public affairs
Executive director of lkwd chamber of commerce
This new position
Not bad for part time
It is traditional to eat chulent Erev Shabbos, Shabbos late at night, Shabbos Day Seudah, Weds night the leftovers!
ReplyDeleteMany enjoy Chulat leil shishi
ReplyDeleteNice way to ban leftovers - finally some fresh food sunday night!
ReplyDeleteA real good lawyer should be hired for R Binyamin to sue the kishkes out of the Lakewood police , ocean county government etc for what happened unjustly to him
ReplyDeleteHow silly ! the LPD will not be paying one penny if they lose it's going to be me you and everybody else who's going to need to shell out. If you have this need to see fireworks how about suing yourself and sending me the check
DeleteFireworks were canceled I wonder if any money was even saved - chances are they figured out how to spend the money..
DeleteA good lawsuit is needed for R Binyamin against the LPD and Ocean two, this will help him out financially, and have the our police think twice before they are so eager to pounce on one of us
ReplyDeleteThe Lakewood police is like Mayberry RPD! Lol
ReplyDeletewriting lol does not make your comment funny. lol.
DeleteA min spend per table after an hour or 2 makes sense. just because they are a larger group but if they aren't taking up more room than a 2 person party you shouldn't be punishing them.
ReplyDeletei think its high time all those frum committee members should vacate their posts and make way for new blood to come in if a yungerman can sit in prison 5 days for a crime he didnt commit and these so called askonim who cant even show their faces in public for shame a chillul hashem and they need to answer on this world and the next world !
ReplyDeleteif you cant take the heat leave the kitchen they are worthless only hiking up taxes and represent personal ($$$$)interests but when a genuine need comes along as with r' binyomin theyre no wehre to be seen 25 years they sit on the board what have they done besides ruin this town shame on them and shame on those who ask us to vote them in again and again perhaps they see the folly and mistake from this story
sorry to say, its very nice that the RY came out but its a too little too late!!!
What about Mrs Miller on the local Lakewood municipality boards that she is on.... What about the De'lias daughter who has a created job as payback?? How much waste and corruption goes on while we the taxpayer have endless increases?? How many 'tax abatements' are issued that we the taxpayer need to pay for? What about all the office buildings in Chambersbride that are tax exempt? They bring minimal tax revenue? What about all the tax exempt schools in the industrial park? A place that would bring in lots of revenue for the town now many are yeshivas? Is this appropriate?
ReplyDeleteThe surrounding towns cash in as our township suffers with all the tax free properties being used by the other towns
DeleteYes. Your children need yeshivas. Or maybe they don't So when your children have no schools you will be understanding. They are tax exempt wherever they are .
ReplyDeleteLe tthem make schools in areas that dont take away buildings that bring in 100% revenue for the township. Keep it inmdustrial and taxed!
DeleteIf they would build schools right outside of Lakewood we would not lose anything .
DeleteThe other towns are smartly building schools and yeshivas right outside their town - In Lakewood!
DeleteThis will lead to the yiddisher community separating themselves from the local minority community.
ReplyDeleteNo more day laborers, no more cleaning help, etc. Pay a fair wage to American help, exactly what President Trump is advocating.
By the way, less need for public schools in Lakewood, less BOE taxes,
This is how the powers that be control the politicians they set them up with no show jobs it's a sorta kosher bribery they get paid for positions that they do absolutely nothing but collect a nice salary all paid for by taxpayers
ReplyDeleteAnd than they own them and get them to vote for or do whatever they are asked.
The Israelis don't know how to make a good chulent like we do! Lol
ReplyDeleteWhat a sick disgusting front page in the Ami with Avi Schnall trying to take credit for the tuition bill after all he's done attacking Trump at the DNC claiming that Lakewood is not for Trump after he failed to deliver tuition relief he's now trying to fool everyone into thinking that he was involved with this bill that the Republicans and Trump signed.
ReplyDeleteAfter he flipped a republican seat that belonged to lakewood voters
Shame on AMI FOR HELPING TO PEDDLE THIS GARBAGE
Do you all know how many org were puishing the tuition bill in congress?? We can start with the OU who has been a very large advocate along with many christian and muslim religious groups pushing for this. Avi inc is a small clog in the wheel.
ReplyDeleteNothing at all.AS is nothing on the Federal level.Couldn't even find them on Waze.
