- At last night’s Lakewood Township Committee meeting, a resident raised concerns about the upcoming 12% tax increase, asking how the township could justify raising taxes at this time and questioning where the revenue from all the new construction had gone. The mayor did not respond to the inquiry and instead proceeded to adjourn the meeting without addressing the question.
