ReplyDeleteLSTA’s new system is experiencing major issues. I had to call five times, only to be told that they don’t take calls between 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM. They didn’t have my child in their system and kept giving me the runaround, directing me to the school, while the school referred me back to LSTA. It was so much simpler when I could just send in the papers. Even if they insist on using an online system, I should be allowed to input any and all corrections legally.
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine is being denied access to the portal because, according to LSTA, their kindergarten-aged child—who was never on a bus—allegedly didn’t pay last year’s fees.
I also heard that yeshivos offered to submit applications on behalf of parents through a back-end portal, but LSTA refuses to accept any assistance.
LSTA should be DOGEd they are using tax dollars but run it with zero oversight
Deletethey are not bound by BOE school district rules and do as they wish. Let them show the books and have the department of education hold them fully accountable to all rules and regulations just as the school district
Seems like Daycare centers is the new gravy train in town.
ReplyDelete👍
DeleteI like how People dont stop opening up CHS daycares while everyone is slowly getting terminated - Not sure why they are having so much faith in Avi Schnall saving CHS
DeleteDaycare centers are the worst for traffic and should be denied in residential areas. over additional 100 cars minimum depending on the size of daycare. lined up with traffic backup because of drop off and pickup
ReplyDeleteThe two new daycare's are taking over bushiness places.
DeleteThey’re taking over businesses that have a fraction of the amount of traffic that cares produce.
Deletethese were the only 2 schools that totally ignored the govt and refused to even be goires the govt.like the old Eitz strategy 10 years ago regarding giyus.
ReplyDeleteWell put. If/when the BOE were imposing guidelines against our values we should/would of course stand together up to them. But basic equivalency isn't [at this stage] too difficult to comply with

DeleteThis by contrast IS very dangerous.
Imposing coercive hedonism & perversion
So lets keep voting in the anti DOGE Schnall types. So Chemed/DayCares/LIC etc etc. keep raking it in while we are left with pot holes.
ReplyDeleteThe school is named after shoproner rov
ReplyDeleteThese 2 Yeshivos stopped taking any funding as they saw the new guidelines coming.
ReplyDeleteThe notice now, was to the parents that the Yeshivas are not schools. Ad Kan.
The Yeshivos can stay open, no change in curriculum or teachers' requirements.
No need to be equivalent to core values of liberal and lower than that.
