Israel At War Sunday Feb 23

Israel at war day 506

- US backs delay in prisoner release: "A response to the coffin march of the Bibas family's children in Gaza." A National Security Council spokesman told Ynet that President Trump "supports Israel in any step it decides to take against Hams." His comments come after Israel decided to delay the release of 620 terrorists "in light of Hams' repeated violations." "This is an appropriate response."

- For the first time since 10/7 - ALL Home Front Command directives in the communities along the conflict line in the North of Israel have been lifted.

- IDF Spokesperson: Following an assessment of the situation, it was decided to increase military and operational readiness in the area surrounding Gaza. As of this time, there is no change in the instructions for the home front.

- The levaya for Shiri Z"L, Ariel Z"L & Kfir Z"L Bibas will be held this Wednesday at 11 AM (Israel time). The limited funeral will be held in the cemetery in the town of Zohar, where Shiri's mother and father, who were murdered on 10/7, are also buried.

- Mike Waltz, the US National Security Advisor:  "We are working with our Egyptian and Qatari partners to release the remaining hostages. The President is committed to that. Hams' behavior in the last week is affecting the negotiations - they will not be allowed to control Gaza.

- IDF fighter jets circling over Beirut - during Nasrallah's funeral

- IDF: "Today is Hassan Nasrallah’s funeral.
Today the world is a better place".

- Defense Minister Israel Katz: "Israeli Air Force aircraft currently flying over Beirut, over the funeral of Hassan Nasrallah, convey a clear message: Those who threaten to destroy Israel and attack Israel, it will be their end."

- Defense Minister Israel Katz says he has instructed the IDF to stay for the next year in West Bank refugee camps that have been cleared of terror operatives and civilians, and not allow anyone to return.

"40,000 Palestinians have so far evacuated from the Jenin, Tulkarem, and Nur Shams refugee camps, and are now empty of residents. UNRWA activity in the camps has also been stopped." Katz says in a statement

- Elise Stefanik, the appointed US ambassador to the UN: “We will not only defund UNRWA. We will dismantle it.”

The IDF confirms carrying out additional airstrikes in Lebanon a short while ago.
The targets included Hezbollah sites containing rocket launchers and other weapons in the Baalbek area in northeastern Lebanon and other areas in the south of the country, according to the military.

- Sec Marco Rubio: Hamas’ treatment of hostages, including its brutal murder of the Bibas family, further illustrates their savagery and is yet another reason why we are saying these terrorists must release all of the hostages immediately or be destroyed.

  1. NYS Ed Dept (run by progressive Dems) is trying to close down Yeshivos. But none of our in-house complainers care. They only care about the Tziyonim. They only care about the Yeshivos if they can use the issue to bash the Tziyonim.
Its like the Sonei Yisroel who don't care about the human rights abuses in the rest of the world. They only care about the "human rights abuses" in Gaza, so they can use it to bash the..... Tziyonim !! (the Jews)
