How do they steal food stamps funds don't they have to submit it through a payment system with the social services
ReplyDeleteOr is it like credit cards
No young kollel or working couples are buying homes in Lakewood
ReplyDeleteFor several reasons primarily because it's unaffordable and the development have aged out.
Everyone is moving to Toms River Jackson Howell Manchester
So what is the point in building all these new construction for outsiders that will pay 1.3 million costing more in taxes to provide more services like fire and trash collection and causing gridlock traffic
This lie of building for outsiders needs to stop. The new developments along Prospect/Cross are for bnei yeshiva. The women have good jobs in the industrial park, and are affording these homes.
Deleteof course it's not a lie. "the women have good jobs in the industrial park so the kollel men have 1.5 million dollars to buy a house" is the most lame lie i have ever heard.
DeleteMost women with the good jobs in the industrial park still can't afford the houses going for $1.3M. Cost of living is through the rood, don't know how yeshivaleit afford those houses, even with "the women having a good job"
DeleteSure, nobody built for outsiders, no events were held in Boro Park and Williamsburg to persuade people to buy in Lakewood. There is no development called Belz or Satmar in Lakewood.
DeleteIt's all a figment of our imagination.
Yet look at those who are buying and you will see it is them. There is parental help too.
Deleteswing by the developments on prospect. holden square. look into who's on the list to buy at cross and Massachusetts. look who bought on payne. All litvishe people. Not "outsiders". How they afford it I don't know.
DeleteDon't confuse them with the facts, they want to blame the chasidim. 7 years ago when no one wanted to buy in south Lakewood, they held events in boro park. Not in recent years. Because we were snobs, we lost out on Stamford Meadows, Belz, Oak and Vine, Blue river, and other developments. Most houses in O&V sold in the mid 500's just a few short years ago. We were short sighted.
DeleteDid anyone attempt to sell houses in South Lakewood to Yeshiva leit? I remember seven years ago, and plenty of people were ready to buy there, for the correct price.
DeleteSo 'Mevitas fahrer' fiasco and young bachurim and parents are let down. Our bussing is at severe risk of stopping due to lack of funding (Aaron Lang and the BOE candidates who were running the last few years warned us about). We have loads of Traffic and overdevelopment (Ben Heineman - VAAD member is proud of it) and lack of public quality of life. Does the VAAD only wake up when it is time to vote to let you know who to vote for and make sure that nobody represents the oilam??? We need a new organization to represent us the taxpayers and the oilam.
ReplyDeleteOnce again... the vaad has nothing to do with with mesivta acceptances and nor do they claim so. You may as well blame them for the shiduch crisis and children at risk while you're at it. Oh and giyus bnei yeshivos also.
DeleteIf you want people to take you seriously when you RIGHTFULLY blame them for over-development, traffic, funding for the BOE etc etc then you can't be the boy who cried wolf and blame them for things they have no involvement with.
Shkoyach to the cabal for under the table not providing busses. GEVALDIG
ReplyDeleteSNAP being used at kosher stores is not something that most of the victims need to worry about. As the Gedolim used of the previous dor used to say. Glatt Yosher gelt for the purpose of glatt kosher food doesn't just get lost
ReplyDeletei am from the previous dor and i never heard any Gedolim say that.
DeleteHow dare you post a wholesale Motzi Shem Ra over here?
DeleteAnd nuch in the name of gedolim? (I assume gedolim, in the context, means 'people over barmitzvah'.)
see here page four https://agudah.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/JO1994-V27-N04.pdf
DeleteSeems the new homes being built is still behind tha marriage and birth rate.
ReplyDeleteNow with the return from the Midwest would need even more homes even faster.
Any plans?
Any plans for 1-2 bedrooms for young couples, 3-4 bedroom homes for that range????
....??
"Return from the midwest"??
DeleteThere is currently a surplus of 1-2 bedroom apartments for young couples, that is not currently an issue.
Surplus?
DeleteRental prices aren't going down.
Look in the masa umatan how many apartments are available. Young couples have where to live. If it is affordable is a different question.
DeleteThe EBT Food stamps scam isn't the stores fault. This has nothing to do with any local store. This was a system-wide hacking scheme in multiple states through the back end of the program. Wasn't done in-store at all
ReplyDeleteIts a national federal investigation. Get the facts straight
We should not build any more homes on Prospect or on Cross street until there is another through street between Prospect and James!!!!
ReplyDeleteThere is no way to get from Prospect to James without either going thru Cross street, or through Williams St. That is a very long way between those two streets with many many developments in between.
I don't understand how Toras Aaron was built on the dead end Summer street off Prospect without extending that street all the way to James. I heard that Bais Shaindel is building a new building on the other side of that dead end street!! Why do we have so many dead end streets?? The town is building and building without enough side streets!!
The traffic on Cross street towards James is UNBEARABLE due to the Cross street and Prospect intersection causing backup on Cross street for at least a mile every morning. This issue causes stress and distress to many families in this town.
If anyone's voice is heard among the people in control in this town, please help out in this area. It would be a tremendous mitzva and a huge chesed for many many people on DAILY basis.
Why is one of the gabbayim from Satmar wearing a scarf in Palm springs?
ReplyDeleteI hope R Aaron and his buddies r having a great time veiwing the Palm trees around the mansions they r staying in, while his followers back in Monroe live like animals in a jungle piled one on top of the other
ReplyDeleteNot that I approve of Satmar behaviors, but those homes in the Monroe jungle might cost more than the Palm Springs mansions.
DeleteNj Governor race the watsapp groups are pushing Gottheimer.
ReplyDeletewere they paid off??
Be careful not to fall for anyone who tells you who to vote for. Look at their records and what they stand for
Copy paste from Schnall campaign
DeleteCBN is all in for Josh Gottheimer it's very obvious they hired a frum liason and cbn joined gottheimer on a tour of Lakewood
He's a pro LGBT hashchasa candidate
Lakewood will come out strong for Jack Ciattarelli
They have zero credibility for not disclosing which campaigns are promoting or getting paid from
DeleteIt's just a laughing stock and sad that they claim to have everyone s best interests in mind when they supported Miller and Lichtenstein for Lakewood
It seems like this Herman liason guy found his messenger
We can only hope
DeleteSame old playbook, pretend that you are against establishment and for the people while actually pushing for the establishment
DeleteWith the same phrase "there's no vaad no one representing us bla bla, yet endorsing the same vaad candidates.
No one is falling for this anymore
Lakewood will come out strong for Jack Ciattarelli and the Republicans
Murphy and the democrats did nothing for Lakewood
schnall is an utter failure
On Shabbos by kriyas Hatorah, please make sure your being maavir sedra doesn't disturb the people next to you from hearing laining.
ReplyDeleteA palm tree in Yiddish is a teitelboim
ReplyDeletethanks Captain Obvious
DeleteThe fact that they're using Chemdas hHatorah as a ploy is unreal. Oh but the builder is a big baal tzedaka and a huge tzadik!!!!
ReplyDeleteI actually heard that unlike Lakewood the heads in KY put their feet down to see that the new construction stays affordable for the yungerlite
ReplyDeleteI think R Aron put his foot down and decided a maximum on price per sq foot the developer can charge. This way the developer can still make profit without straining the buyers. There’s a few articles about it online.
DeleteIt works because I think the developer is Satmer / KY Chevra and R Aron has the ability to run them out of town if needed. There’s no leverage in Lakewood.
What's up with viber in Satmar Forest showing up with burka style shmattes?? If u ask me it's very non yiddishe. Totally goyish. Let them move to Iran
ReplyDeleteWhy do you even care what a guy with a WhatsApp group says, he's passing on info from the gottheimer campaign trying to convince lakewood ppl to vote for Josh while slandering all Republicans
ReplyDeleteNo one cares or is goires it.
It's the propaganda arm of the Gottheimer campaign.
Deleteit's the new "Adirei hatorah" leadership of bmg who own the owner of that whatsapp group
Delete
