  1. Why not upgrade kimball/MMC South hospital rather than create a new hospital?? Isn't that more economical? Also why start up with the old?? Don't think you're gonna get better service or care this is NJ. We don't have the staff/workers you get in NY. Face it the seniors should not be moving here if they need serious health care.

  2. Isn't chemed BMG affiliated organization? Doesn't Aaron kotler sit on the board of monmouth medical center? Would not be simpler to revamp Kimball hospital instead of building a new hospital from scratch? Think about all the grants and protectzia needed which could go for better causes... For example widening route 9....... Follow the dollars?? Have a creeping suspicion it's not about the little guy......

  3. Chemed offered to buy Kimball but were rebuffed. This is their response. Is it real or a negotiation tactic? Time will tell. We have seen during covid how important it is to have a jewish hospital. The "aiva" was astonishing.
Of course there are those that will argue that they'd rather be treated by a goy than a litvak. After all, Hatzola wasn't responding to shuls that were having minyanim. Was the "aiva" real, or manufactured by those with an agenda?

  4. Of courseits not about the little guy. This is a business not a chessed organization. Look how many offices chemed has opened in a relatively short span of time. Oh I forgot cause they care about your health. Yes chemed is linked to BMG and Aaron Kotler

  5. Assuming this hospital will not have the resources to handle complex situations that end up needing multi specialty care for the baby or mother. That will make it a community hospital akin to Brick, or what Kimball used to have. It will not be an alternative to traveling to Monmouth or Jersey Shore.

    1. Will it have a basic birthing center - like facilty?

      Delete
    2. Basic birthing even is dependent on retaining OB/GYNs to refer patients there. Most patients go where their doctor is, especially OB/GYNs which is a very personal thing for women.

  7. -Nine low-income New Jersey school districts bucked national trends and are now performing above pre-pandemic achievement levels in reading, math, or both.-

What type of nonsense is this about the public school education trends performing above pandemic level?? They dont learn much there so I guess nay improvement whatever that means is headline news... So much taxpayer money is spent there. Time to close it all down and send the students out out neighboring districts. We would save loads of taxpayer money instead of it all going into the blackhole.

    1. Good that you notice how corrupt this town is!! Did you know that CHEMED South on Rt 9 got their land for FREE!!! Which other business in town gets their land for free?? Only businesses that are run by people related to the Township committee of Lakewood ... I have to wonder who's in charge at CHEMED? It must be someone that are relatives or close friends to the Lakewood Township who is in charge of the land.
