  1. This song was condemned by Gedolim in EY, why should we allow him to come sing it here?

    1. If I remember correctly, the psak was retracted when clarification was made

    2. It wasn't condemned! It's sung and accepted at many frum chasunos.

    3. It was condemned by a katan in Eretz Yisroel. Not by any Gedolim

  5. I am impressed that people in Lakewood are interested in watching videos of a Gadol who holds that you are required to get married before age twenty.

    • “Due to the fact that most people can learn properly [after
marriage] during the time that they are sitting and learning
[even if they won’t necessarily be able to learn the same
number of hours each day], and the pressures of earning a
living don’t disturb them while they are learning, and
[regardless] many men find wives who earn a living, it is
forbidden for them to delay their marriage [after age
    nineteen]" (Dibros Moshe, Siman 43).

    • “The dispute regarding whether one should delay marriage to
enable one to learn Torah [assuming one won’t be able learn
after marriage], is relevant only to one whose desires aren’t
strong, to the point that there's no suspicion
to hirhur about sin" (Even Haezer, chelek 1, siman 1).
    • “A person is required to to get married before age twenty.
Otherwise, he will need to seek merits to save him from the
punishment mentioned by Rava" (Even Haezer, chelek 2, siman1).

    1. Wow. So we disregard what Rav Moshe wrote halacha limaaseh multiple times because of what his grandchildren decided.

    3. Sorry, but he wrote it in a teshuva. It's as halacha limaaseh as it gets.
