Israel At War Sunday Feb 9

 Israel at war day 492

- President Trump says that the 3 Israeli hostages released on Saturday look like “Holocaust survivors”. He added that he doesn’t know how much time the rest of the hostages have left at this rate.

- Trump: "We are committed to buying Gaza and taking ownership of it. We may give parts of the territory to other countries in the Middle East to build on. We will make Gaza a good site for future development." Trump also said that applications from Gazans who want to immigrate to the US will be reviewed individually

- PM Netanyahu explained that under US President Trump’s plan to relocate Gazans Palestinians would eventually be able to return home after being screened, in a series of interviews aired Saturday. “Give them an option to relocate temporarily while we rebuild the place physically and while we also rebuild it in terms of radicalization. You want to come back? You have to disavow terrorism, but you can come back,” he told Fox News’ Mark Levin in a pre-recorded interview.

- IDF troops opened fire on a group of dozens of Palestinians who approached the border in the northern Gaza Strip, near the community of Nahal Oz, earlier today, the military says.
According to Palestinian reports - 3 Palestinians were killed by IDF gunfire in the incident.
The suspects reached just a few hundred meters from troops, who are stationed in a buffer zone. The IDF says the forces moved forward with military vehicles and fired warning shots.
As a result, several of the suspects were hit, and the group withdrew, the military says.

- US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will arrive in Israel this weekend

- Trump to New York Post: I'm interested in a nuclear deal with Iran. I'd rather have that than bomb their faces. They don't want to die; nobody wants to die. If we make the deal, Israel won't bomb them."

- In an interview with Mark Levi, PM Netanyahu said that all the countries that complained that Gaza is an “open-air prison” will now have an opportunity, and they can take them all to their countries

- OCT 7th BOMBSHELL WHISTEBLOWER:

Rafael Hayon is an Israeli citizen who dedicated himself to monitoring Hamas communications, aiming to alert Israeli authorities to potential threats against residents near the Gaza border. His efforts reportedly prevented several security incidents in the past and he warned ahead of Oct 7th.

However, months before the October 7, 2023, Hamas-led attack on Israel, Hayon's surveillance license was revoked, and his equipment was confiscated by the Ministry of Communications. Following the attack, which resulted in significant casualties and hostages, authorities reinstated his equipment and sought his assistance. Hayon has expressed that the attack could have been prevented had his warnings been heeded. After the attack, he continued to monitor Hamas communications.

In a video interview with israel journalist Ayala Hason he states that in December of 2023 Hamas was ready to completely surrender, give back ALL the hostages, and give Sinwars location when a foreign entity (possibly USAID) supplied them with an abundance of humanitarian Aid, in the following morning, so that they (Hamas) could continue the war. A senior Hamas official also threatened the Hamas participants to never think of surrendering or their wives would be beheaded. See video here
