    1. Show up to the town meeti gs and say it out loud. We need more frum people saying this publicly and then no one will be able to call the elected officials anti semitic if they stop the building.

  7. The original Lakewood residents didn’t want developers ruining their town either, they probably didn’t want most of us living here. Nobody cares what you want, developers and the township committees who are on their payroll care about their own pockets.

    1. Massive difference: every election they would figure a another version to pull out of "the frum ____ are under attack" which would rally most 'round to vote against the community's long term interest. People in Jackson gained much from experience & are probably less naive

    2. I remember a Va'ad member standing in Yeshiva explaining why we needed frum township committee members, because 1. the seniors hate us and we need to fight back, and 2. if someone is arrested on a Friday afternoon for an expired license, we need frum committee members to help out.

People were fighting back with him, but the tzibur could not see past the ends of their collective noses. Those people who fought were dismissed as cracks, even though they accurately predicted what would happen.

      Stop thinking short term.
