New Mikva to service Lakewood/Jackson Communities

The new Mikva Tahara will service the area of western Ocean county, at the Lakewood/Jackson border. The  Brookwoods, Flair, Harmony Farms, Oakley Hills, Pawnee, Poplar and  Prospect Pointe. Dear Neighbor, Boruch Hashem we have reached this milestone - a Groundbreaking Event to mark the commencement of our Mikvah Taharah building project. As our communities are in urgent need of a Mikvah Taharah, it is a source of inspiration and Chizuk to see this project well underway.
Great effort and expenditures have already been invested in order to reach this point. However, we can only reach ourgoal-the completion of a beautiful Mikvah Taharah - with your help. Let us all join together in this vital project.

  3. I Hope this mikva will have real oversight of Rabbonim. Unfortunately too many mikvaos in Lakewood are controlled by yechidim with no real policies in place. There is no excuse for any man to be allowed in a women's mikva by themselves at anytime. No need to elaborate. Some people think here in Lakewood we don't have to worry about these things and it only happens by the MO, wake up and smell the coffee. Do we have to wait till after these stories break here in Heligi Lakewood before we put these takonnos in place? I should hope not.
    Any person who values his family's tznius would not allow them to use these mikvaos where a man can and does enter on his own.

    1. Are Brooklyn Mikvaos any better what kind of oversight should be implemented?
      There are some jobs that have to be performed by men.

  5. Rabbonim should also get involved in setting guidelines for therapists and Rabbis involved in sholom bayis.
    There is no heter of yichud even for these people.
