Roshei Yeshiva sign Letter to Join Taharas Hakodesh event at Arthur Ashe Stadium

Asifa today at Arthur Ashe stadium in Queens for Taharas Hakodesh campaign to support Mosdos and yeshivos in Eretz Yisrael that will not take money from the Israeli government. Transportation from Lakewood Buses will leave from Forest Avenue and 5th street at 5:30 pm. 23,000 people expected.

    I dont understand , after what this group said about Rav Chaim and Rav shteinman A"H how the rosh hayeshiva could back them? Can someone please clarify this for me?
