- New sefer on Chumash Meged Yerachim from Rav Yeruchom Olshin shlita

Their father (former Sighter Rebbe) apointed the Williamsburger Rebbe as Sigheter Rebbe right after his uncle passed away.
ReplyDeleteWhile I don't care for either of them (or their father), he has more rights to the Sigheter yerusha than his brother, though he would have to give up the Satmar claims. (Unless there was an old purchase of titles as Rebbes often do, not in this case.)
R Ahron said to R Zalman "sure you can be the sigiter rebbe, any day you wish."
DeleteOk thank you
DeleteThere's even a teshuva in Igros Moshe regarding a get in year 5737, and one of the dayanim was R' Aharon Teitelbaum Ruv of Sighet Williamsburg.
DeleteThe other brother built that building. The father never owned it.
DeleteNebach we keep sShabboss because of Trump.
ReplyDeleteAnd how about listening to Rav Aron Zatzal no carrying in Lakewood
He first appointed Reb Aharon as the Ruv of Sighet in Williamsburg when he moved to Boro Park. I am not sure which Sigheter yerusha you are referring to. In any case they have long split up Sighet while their father was still alive, having Reb Aharon's children lead Sighet in Williamsburg and Reb Zalman Leib's in Boro Park.
ReplyDeleteHe was zenta ruv not sigiter and they weren’t rebbes in sigit they were official Rabbanim and if not made they’re own kehila hasfardis
ReplyDeleteI don't see R Malkiel by the Lubavicher in S America.
ReplyDeleteLakewood vaad gives endorsement lol who is the VAAD?
ReplyDeleteR Yoel and his mother moved to Satmar after his brother the klosinberger s father in law who was r moshes father became ruv
ReplyDeleteReb Yoel moved to Palantch, where his father in law lived. Only afterwards did he move to Satmar.
DeleteHe wasn't Rav in Satmar for at least ten years. Just Rosh Yeshiva (SR was one of few Rebbes that actually qualified as RY.)
DeleteHe and the Klausenberger were great grandchildren of the Divrei Chaim. As was the Bobover (
(until the 70s, the Bobover would remind his mother from his seat into the Ezrat Nashim just before yizkor that her parents name was ben "Chaim". People would come from all over just to hear the Rebbe say the name Chaim.
Yes, he is in the pictures

Much bigger problem is. Is chemed the org that we want involved in our healthcare,
ReplyDeleteDo they have a rabbinical board? are they Hippa compliant?
Is HIPPA a good enough standard for our community when you have integrated healthcare with the likes of Mental health among other health conditions all treated together with one set of medical records, all Chemed employees can see everything, if we have a huge frum population employed by one integrated healthcare system, forget HIPPA there will be huge gaps in privacy when your 20 yr old niece working in billing sees everything about you if she wants to.
Major issues here, and there have been huge problems in the past.
these are not the people we want in charge of lakewoods health system
ps Menashe Miller is employed by Chemed
ps Chemed is also a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) so you cant sue for malpractices or hippa violations etc for much
THIS IS NOT WHAT LAKEWOODS POPULATION WANTS
Supposedly billing does not see medical information, but I find that hard to believe. Besides, billing info gives alot of information, such as specialists and follow up tests.
DeleteThis is also a problem with non Jewish medical centers. And insurance companies. And employers in employer-paid medical plans, as are ALL employers with 50+ employees.
Add -- do you trust Mandami to keep medical info confidential when he finishes taking over Maimonides?
Lakewood roads are closed. So how do we get around?
ReplyDeleteBasically route 9 closed from oak to rt70. That's cuts off half of Lakewood (east west)
If you think pine Street at least will be open, nope that is closed too
Oh at least we have county line...oh got the t xt that too is closed from Princeton to squanqom.
Can't the construction at least be coordinated?
Easy way to coordinate -- ask your State Assemblyman.
DeleteOh, that means he'll have to do some work without getting paid.
The transportation system for the Adirei HaTorah event could show more kavod toward the yungeleit. Some of the signage and enforcement around busing feels overly strict and at times condescending, especially toward older kollel yungeleit who deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. In addition, the boarding process could be handled with more sensitivity, as some volunteers come across as overly forceful. Since the event is meant to honor yungeleit, the overall experience should consistently reflect that kavod.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your attention to this matter
If you don’t use your ticket your a ganef
DeleteExactly! how is that kinda language respectful to adults especially choshuva youngeleit
DeleteJune 6 2027 is on Rosh Chodesh Sivan not 20 Sivan. Why is Agudah making an event with music and dancing when half hold the second sefira? They should push it off a few days. And BTW they shouldn’t take credit for online learning of the daf as the Moetzes banned a website or an app which is why All Daf went to the OU instead where it has been phenomenally successful adding tens of thousands of new learners across its All Torah (daf , mishna, parsha, Halacha) platform.
ReplyDeleteBoxes given out with challah, candles etc. How lame. Is that going to make someone keep Shabbos?
ReplyDeleteAgudah should change their name to the Daf Yomi every 8 year organization
ReplyDeleteWhy would Agudah make a video? Arnt the Gedolim against video?
