- Traffic woes continued disrupting life in Lakewood last night, with road closures on major arteries causing major delays as residents prepare for Shabbos and the upcoming Shavuos season. Local officials have yet to publicly address the ongoing congestion or take responsibility for the disruptions. - Fears over a possible cancer cluster in New Jersey are intensifying after the number of reported cases in one community reportedly surged to nearly 200 people, according to a new report published Thursday. Residents in the Keyport area have raised concerns for months about unusually high cancer rates near the former Aeromarine landfill site, where environmental officials previously identified contaminants including benzene, arsenic, and PCBs in groundwater. State officials have not confirmed a formal cancer cluster designation, but investigations and community pressure continue to grow.
