Iran Israel Updates Monday May 4

- CENTCOM is announcing that it has broken the Iranian blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, and 2 US vessels are safely out.

- Iranian Army Statement: Several US Navy destroyers turned off their radars and tried to approach the Strait of Hormuz. After the destroyers did not respond to the first warning sent to them, a second warning was issued clarifying that any attempt to enter the Strait of Hormuz would be considered a violation of the ceasefire and would be met with a response from the naval forces. At this stage, and after further disregard by the destroyers, the Iranian Navy fired warning missiles near the destroyers to warn them against passing through the strait. The responsibility and consequences of such dangerous actions lie with the enemy
-Iran's Fars News Agency claims two missiles hit a US warship in the Strait of Hormuz after it ignored warnings

- US official denies the Iranian report that Iran fired two missiles at a US Navy vessel after it attempted to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
The denial from an unnamed official is made to Axios and Channel 12 reporter Barak Ravid,as 
the United States launches Project Freedom in  to guide stranded ships out of the Strait of Hormuz.

-The Spokesman of Iran National Security Council: “The Strait of Hormuz isn't closed by a tweet to be opened by a tweet, The path to opening the Strait of Hormuz is either accepting defeat, reaching an agreement, and acknowledging Iran's sovereignty and supremacy over the Strait of Hormuz, Or returning to the battlefield, accepting another humiliating defeat, and acknowledging Iran's sovereignty and supremacy over the Strait of Hormuz, No path remains other than this.

- CNN: The Strait of Hormuz remains almost devoid of ship traffic despite US President Donald Trump's announcement that the US military will begin defending the passage under "Project Freedom." According to maritime tracking data, only one sanctioned tanker crossed the strait today.

- IDF hits HeBollah targets in South Lebanon 

- An Iranian source to the Iranian Tasnim News Agency: "Iran is fully prepared for any scenario, and the Americans know that Iran will not allow Trump and US forces to bully them. The Iranian Armed Forces, as in the 40-Day War, will not allow the passage of US forces, and any movement in the Strait of Hormuz will be carried out only with the approval of the Iranian Armed Forces."
