Iran Israel Updates Friday May 8

- Tansim Iranian News reports: The situation in the Gulf is calm for now, but if Americans try to enter there again and cause trouble for Iranian ships, confrontations are possible

- Three IDF soldiers hurt, one seriously, in Hezbollah explosive drone attacks

- Secretary of State Marco Rubio: Awaiting Iran's response today

- Hezbollah fired a barrage of several rockets at the Western Galilee and Haifa Bay area a short while ago. The IDF says one of the rockets was intercepted by air defenses, while the others struck open areas. There are no reports of injuries in the attack.

- UAE: Iran launched 2 ballistic missiles and 3 drones at the us today. Three people were injured with moderate injuries.

- The IDF says it is preparing for the possibility that Hezbollah will fire rockets from Lebanon at northern Israel in the coming hours, “against the backdrop of recent developments.”

- The Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi refers to "intelligence assessments" published by various US media outlets and declares: Our current missiles and launchers are not 75% of what we had on 2/28, but 120% compared to this date…. Our readiness to defend our people stands at 1000%….

-  CENTCOM: As of today, there are more than 70 tankers prevented from entering or leaving ports in Iran following the US blockade. These merchant vessels have the capacity to transport more than 166 million barrels of Iranian oil, valued at an estimated more than $13 billion.

- Trump on Iran: “They trifled with us today. We blew 'em away... If there's no ceasefire, you're not going to have to know. You're just gonna have to look at one big glow coming out of Iran and they better sign their agreement fast."
