    1. Minhag Yisroel is to follow the minhag hamakom

    2. Not minhag yisrael by any means. Halacha dictates we do that each and every single day. Minhag yeshivos is to make it short. R shneuer instituted that on chanuka we should complete chazoras hashatz in order to say al hanissim

    3. Short chazazat haShatz, halachically is only for exigent circumstances, not regularly. Not for convenience, not for picking up the babysitter every day. Find another minyan that starts earlier if it's a problem. Leave shiur (in BMG, they're not even in shiur anyway) earlier. If the maggid shiur doesn't let, find another yeshiva

Did they do this in Kletzk?
      Did the FIL allow this?
No other yeshiva / RY allow this, not litvish, definitely not chassidic.

    4. The short mincha is what the beis Yosef calls Minnan hasfardim and says “yehi beshamta” someone who follows them, how ironic that Lakewood besides for being the gashmiyus capital is also known for the capital of the short mincha.

    5. It's an old minhag hayeshivos to make a short mincha not just Lakewood. Ponevezh also does it
Chassidim have minhagim that are much more questionable

    6. Incorrect. Reb Moshe also instituted "short mincha" in MTJ. Please do basic research before you make such claims

    7. Short chazaras hashatz is a minhag kineged Dina d’gemara, in what way are other minhagim more questionable?

    8. Amei Haaretz, since time immemorial, have been searching for ways to denigrate Talmidei Chachamim.
In recent years, as people who weren't successful in learning turned to outside ideas, they have been attacking Bnei Torah for perceived or invented halachic shortcomings.
We should see these statements for what they are - שנאת עמי הארץ לתלמידי חכמים.

It is not about the short mincha, shaved beards, or late marriage. Its just hatred of talmidei chachamim and an expression of the frustration of those who didn't manage to find their calling in learning.

Here's a list of 'other minhagim more questionable':
      1. Davening after zeman tefilla (against a mishna)
      2. Brothers fighting with fists (against a passuk)
      3. Rebbes going to court to fight their fights (against a passuk)
      4. Crowning amei haaretz and nasty people as 'tzadikim' (against many pessukim)
      5. Eating before davening (against a passuk)
      6. Not mishing on Pesach (against a passuk)

      Need any more?

  4. What is the source of these 'over 2 million people' who have left the country?

It sounds like more of the Trump hype, when $4bn becomes $18t etc. No real connection to facts and truth.

  7. PSA - When write something in all caps because you want to give the impression that you are saying something very loud, don't use the shift key, it causes the letters to be lowercase and ruins the intensity of the message you are trying to convey

  8. Cut out whatever you want from davening, korbonos, pesukei dezimra, chazaras hashatz, AS LONG AS YOU SAY TACHANUN!
