Give me some examples of when the state absolutely proclaim to be speaking for the Jewish people as a whole. Just because a claim is frequently made in anti-Zionist propaganda doesn't make it true. ReplyDeleteAbout ten+ years ago, the Bondi community wanted to build a new campus. Local goyim got the local government to prevent it, citing specifically increased security costs from Arab terrorists. In the end, the national government made the local government approve it, but didn't place restrictions on Arabs and Muslims. (Note Pakistan is not Arab, but Muslim.)

From a perspective of being in Golus it is no different than any other frum public event. That aside and of more importance when Yidden are murdered we don't talk that way about them.
