Segula: This shabbos Krias Hatorah from 3 Parshiyos

Kossover Rebbe
This shabbos  is parshas Terumah, Rosh chodesh Adar and parshas Shekalim a rare occurrence when we  read from 3 different Parshiyos, those that have will take out 3 sifrei torah. A Special Segulah for Yeshuos has been publicized recently from the פרקי היכלות  written by the tannah Rav Yishmael Kohen Gadol, that during Pesichah of  a kriah from 3 seforim there is a special shaar in shamayim that opens up. The Gerer Rebbe the Pnei Menachem zt"l  would tell people in need of a yeshuah to daven during this specific time when the aron kodesh is open. He brings from the zohar that it's an eis ratzon in general during pesicha but he adds specificly during shabbos chanuka and rosh chodesh when there are 3 seforim.

Others say there is no mekor for the segula mentioned in the pirkei Heichalos but rather there is an Eis Ratzon when you  open the Aron Kodesh.
Rav Elimelech Biderman (Be’er Hachaim, Chanukah, page 125) writes, “The Zohar (206a) teaches that whenever the Aron Kodesh is opened, it is an eis ratzon. We have a direct kabbolah from the Tzemach Tzedek, who heard from his grandfather, the Baal Hatanya, who heard from his rebbe, the Maggid of Mezeritch, who heard from his own rebbe, the Baal Shem Tov, that all prayers and
supplications that are uttered when the Aron is open will be fulfilled in part or in full. All the more so when three Sifrei Torah are taken out, many students of the Baal Shem Tov testify that at that moment the gates of compassion are opened and great things can be accomplished.”(Yated)

Other times when we lein 3 kriahs from the sefer torah is shabbos Chanukah that falls out on Rosh chodesh or parshas Hachodeah that falls out on rosh chodesh.

  3. This coming שבת -ר"ח -שקלים we will be
reading from three different ספרי תורה.

Some claim, in the name of one of the Gerer Rebbes
to have quoted from the ספר היכלות that on a day when
3 ספרי תורה are taken out of the ארון הקדש there
is a special סגולה during פתיחת הארון to have all your
תפילות for your needs & wants to be accepted.

I checked the entire ספר היכלות* and there is no
mention of 3 ספרי תורה or any such סגולה etc.

As far as I know, this סגולה has no מקור. It was
probably made up by one of the Chasidic Rebbes.
based on a פסוק in יחזקאל מ""ו
Not only are the gates of the Bais Hamikdash
opened on Shabbos or on Rosh Chodesh but
also, the gates of heaven are opened, especially
when we have both, Shabbos & Rosh Chodesh.
(and even more so when we also have פרשת שקלים)

Someone likely asked where to find this סגולה and
jokingly got told it's in a (nonexistent sefer) ספר היכלות
a ספר on הלכות ארון הקדש. The term היכל is used for
ארון הקדש. As the זהר פ' נשא says, הכל תלוי במזל
אפילו ס"ת שבהיכל, Even today, Sefardim call an
    aron kodesh a היכל.

Hence the confusion of those who mistakenly
believe the מקור is in the original ספר היכלות
which is מיוחס להתנא ר' ישמעאל

  5. And if I may add, for some odd reason some people who get pesicha open the Aron quickly, take out the torah and close it immediately and dont give a chance to say Brich shmay (forget about personal bakashos!). Most of the time I find these to be litvishe people, not sure why, ashkenaz says brich shmay too. It's also a bizayon to take out the torah and stand there waiting for the chazan to take the Torah, so please dont be an oiber chochom, open the aron, leave open the aron with enough time to say brich shmay like a mentch and close the aron when you give the Torah to the Chazon, thank you!

    3. The halacha is very clear. Open the aron, take out the Torah, say brich shemai, then give it to the chazan.

  7. A sober reading of the Zohar, based on a Torah background, seems to mean that not only when doing a mitzvah is it an eis ratzon, but even while preparing for the mitzvah. While opening the aron hakodesh and removing the holy scrolls, we are already close to Hashem, almost at His table learning His Torah. That is an eis ratzon.

The purpose of opening the holy ark is to remove the Sifrei Torah, and because we are removing the Sifrei Torah to learn from them, we can daven for our needs. The purpose is not to have time to say Brich Shmeih.

Let us not confuse the issues.
