Vote for Moshe Raitzik
ReplyDeleteStop kvetching about traffic and taxes go vote
Don't let a vaad robo call tell you who to vote for while not disclosing all the financial dealings he's involved with getting township funding
Voting for Miller and Lichtenstein is like voting for Kamala Harris because she's been in office for 4 years.
You have an achrayus to Lakewood residents and youngeleit to elect someone that has the interests of the tzubbur in mind
Not those who helped divert funding that was meant to help lakewood residents and somehow always stir it to their pet project
There's no endorsement from any rabonimb on local elections this time so you are not going against daas Torah by voting for your rights and best interests
Just keep in mind Miller and Lichtenstein both voted to raise taxes on lakewood residents 4 years in a row and helped themselves thisvyear with a 20k salary raise paid for by poor lakewood families.
It's utterly ridiculous how people still vote in Miller and Lichtenstein. Enough already!
ReplyDeleteThe self appointed vaad had the chutzpah to put a Mexican woman on the township
ReplyDeleteCommitee that has zero knowledge about lakewood and has not been involved at all, they are asidin litein es hadin for abusing the tzibbur like this. And the people stupidly vote for candidates they know nothing about just not to have a candidate not under the control of the vaad
Sad that this ihr hatorah is run with corruption from unzere in the most non ehrlich way
We are all preaching to the choir. Anyone that is smart enough to get their news from hefkervelt is also smart enough to not follow the crowd and use their own seichel.
DeleteIf we want change in Lakewood, we need to send out another mass mailing with haskama from rabbanim on voting for both Moshe Raitzik and the 3 BOE candidates to fix the formula.
Otherwise, I am sure that the incumbents will just be re-elected as they are circled on that election paper sent from the "vaad" without a single name or Rav listed.
Despicable that Miller or Lichtenstein don't even bother to campaign and reach out to voters why they should be elected
ReplyDeleteBut than again on what record for ruining this town for 20 years while taking care of the well connected
So CBN says to give our current committeemen one more chance to prove themselves... That's ridiculous! They've been there for over 20 years!! If they haven't fixed it yet, why think they will do it now? It's the same as Kamala! If she was going to fix things, she should do it now! So should the Committee members... but they won't. They won't even speak up to defend themselves or promise anything. CBN is making things up completely!!
ReplyDeleteWho cares what one person tells you to do what credibility does he have. How sad that this is even a conversation. Vote with your brains.
DeleteThey keep using the same excuses and talking points agin and again about their connections and relationships it's all baloney never helped anyone but themselves
Have we forgotten how these askanim abused their connections during covid to go after frum lakewood residents
How they threatened the Lakewood roshei yeshiva yes the 3 guys who lied to him. It's time to show them the door.
And it sounds like avi shcnall talking points all over again
I voted for Raitzik and did a write in by Menashe
ReplyDeleteEnough abuse already
Amazing how a certain 3 letter WhatsApp news channel says to vote for the two guys who have been running Lakewood to the ground for the past 20 years. Incredibly hypocritical.
ReplyDeleteWhy has this 3 letter channel involved himself in this election? What's in it for him? What is he hoping to gain?
DeleteHe can give his opinion just like anyone else can but why anyone would think to vote based on a WhatsApp group moderators recommendations is beyond me. People need to get themselves educated as to the issues and the potential solutions and then demand representation that is in their best interests. Until that happens there will be no positive change.
DeleteThis wole business of being told who to vote for is childish and insulting
ReplyDeleteIn a normal system the candidates present their take and what they believe on and let the voter make a decision.
Instead you have people who appoint themselves to tell people who to vote for anyone with a microphone thinks that it is their power to lecture you on how to live your life and make decisions. It is treating adults like babies who are told what to do.
These robo calls are sick and obnoxious
And worse when they don't disclose who they spoke to if they have negius to certain askanim or have been paid off or have a financial gain
Let people decide
An Aristocrat is somebody who controls a person's vote - John Adams
ReplyDeleteI'm on HUD and was helper by a Vaad member 2 decades ago and will follow their daas Torah directive whom to vote for
ReplyDeleteTha VAAD member who helped you is he still on the VAAD? Can you tell us his name?? We have no idea who these people are who tell you to vote for someone who you have no idea who they represent. Do they represent you?
DeleteLast I checked and what I know there are two people who are running the VAAD.
