- Axios reports that Trump will serve as America's "Negotiator in Chief" for any hostage negotiations during his term. Additionally, the report claimed that while Trump was on a phone call with Israeli President Herzog a week ago, he thought that most of the hostages were dead. Herzog surprised him and said that Israeli intelligence believes that around half of the hostages are still alive.

-Failed assasination attempt: This morning, the IDF carried out a strike in Beirut targeting senior Hezbollah official Mohammed Abu-Haider. Haider is the most senior military figure in the organization after the series of Israeli assassinations since 10/7. Reports say 20 ppl were killed but the target was not killed.

ReplyDeleteBased on reports by alternative media, the hostage was killed by an Israeli strike. It appears Israel knows that this is fact and is just stalling for PR reasons.
