- Today 14 Tamuz: R'Yaakov Yitzhak HaLevi Ruderman (1901-1987). Founder & Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Ner Yisroel, Baltimore. Led the Yeshiva for 54 years

- SCOTUS: The U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5-4 that states may continue counting mail-in ballots received after Election Day if state law allows it and the ballots were postmarked by Election Day.
Following the decision, President Donald Trump called on the Senate to pass the SAVE America Act, which would require photo ID and proof of citizenship to vote and limit mail-in ballots to cases of illness, disability, military deployment, or travel. He criticized senators who have not supported the legislation

-With a change in routine today and schedule especially with hot weather It’s important to keep the safeguards and implement reminders not to forget a child in the car. A good deterrent is for the Morah to call after a pre set time if the baby does not come after 10:15 am. It should be mandatory to take attendance each morning and call both parents if baby or child is not there by 10:30.

- Day Camp season begins today with girls proudly wearing their camp bags and other camp paraphernalia. After a long hard year and cold weather, the kinderlach get some time to unwind in a non pressure environment enjoying the summer fun. Thanks to the morah's and counselors who provide a fun Torah environment for the Lakewood kinderlach.

- Long Beach Yeshiva moves to their summer location in Princeton, NJ until end of Zman. New campus expected to be ready next year Pesach zman.

Tehillim: Please daven for Meir Pinchas ben Hadass Esther, a chassan and talmid of Yeshivas Oryasa in Jerusalem, who was critically injured in a serious car accident overnight on the road between Monsey and Kiryas Joel. The chassan, who is scheduled to be married next month, remains in critical condition. .

- Reports indicate additional ICE enforcement activity today in Lakewood. Federal agents reportedly stopped a van carrying construction workers near the corner of New Central Avenue and Princess Court. Further details have not yet been confirmed.

- Anti ICE protesters gathered again today at Lakewood Town Square on Clifton Ave.

- Lakewood to receive $1,000,000 Aid for municipal operations and public safety expenses from the new Jersey budget that will be voted on this week as Legislative leaders unveiled a revised $60.743 billion state budget Sunday

    4. The FREE TUITION is available if you start making campaign donations. Like the Modern Orthodox do.
      They can't do that in Lakewood cause together with state funding comes college prep courses.
      Lakewood mesivtot will not only not allow that, they won't even discuss it.

  2. Boruch Hashem for the sefardi rabbis for standing up for themselves as their bochurim are arrested while The degel and Shas politicians are missing in action doing all they can to undermine the protests instead of fighting for the yeshiva bochurim getting arrested.
    Shame that these are the so called representatives

  3. All of the suggestions placing the onus on the morah for late children are simply wrong and misguided.

    Its one thing in a small group OR if a school has a dedicated secretary for this task.

    However, a morah that has a large group of 2 to 5 year olds who are vying for her attention every second, cannot be made responsible for what is essentially the parents obligation. If anything were to happen C"V, the guilt would be unbearable. It's simply unfair. We need to rethink this.

    3. Someone asked a Gadol what the best cheder in Yerushalyim is for a child around 3, 4, 5 (not sure of exact age). His answer?
      "His mother's house!"
      The fellow said, "But my wife says she needs a break"
      The Gadol's response?
      "Oh. You want a cheder for your wife!"
      Maybe many of these kids should be in their mothers house?
      And their husbands working?

      Not all of these thugs are Spanish-speaking Mexicanos.
      There's a group of them in Lakewood that are meztizos only speak obscure Indian languages that even Mexicans can't understand.
