  1. Who's Rav Bunim Schreiber?

  2. Bourbon does not need a hashgacha (at least until a few years ago, when ...) unless it's an issue of chometz she'avar alav haPesach). Was the robbery but a yid?

If there's a list of kosher shatnez checkers, why isn't it posted?

Why don't you follow the chassidic (adopted by yeshivish, even more machmir in yeshivish circles) made-up minhag of NOT listing names of avelot? I know her husband from Boro Park, and his name is obviously relevant here.

    1. Hornisteipler brother-in-law was the Kerem Shlomo.
His brother was Rabbi Dr (psychiatry) Twersky from Pittsburgh (later Monsey). Another brother is chairman of Torts (nezikin) department at Brooklyn Law School.

Hornisteipler was the chassidic name for Steiple in Lita, where Rav Chaim z"l father was from. Should we do more yichus?

  9. Those living on Sunset Road do not appreciate that it is being called Sunset Ave. Yes we know with all the construction it became an extremely busy road but please dont rub it in.

  10. A few years ago the township promised to clean up sunset to put in sidewalks to put in ornamental trees to make it not so trashy looking however it looks like the same rundown trashy neighborhood it always was

  12. I watched part of tonight’s Zoning Board meeting, and it was very troubling.

It seems very clear that Mr. Halberstam is there to coach applicants on how to get projects approved, not simply to provide neutral information. Even when board members raise legitimate concerns, he appears quick to shoot them down and push the application forward.

    1. How much $$ does he take to make sure your application is approved?

    3. It’s obviously a lot of money. There’s a lot of money to be made from this overbuilding. The average yukel cannot compete

  13. Who is gaining from all these new homes that will cost $1.5 million. This is not helping Lakewood residents at all to afford a home.

Why are we allowing others to profit while ruining the quality of life and not even providing affordable housing for young lakewood couples.
Why squeeze every inch in Lakewood for greed!!!

The cross street area will not be livable if all this is approved with no infrastructure and wgen then it may be too late.

    Chutzpah!

    ReplyDelete
  14. And all of the current chaos going on with the road closures is in order to accommodate more building on Cross Street because the current infrastructure can’t handle it so they have to upgrade everything for that. So basically the whole town is turned upside down to accommodate our own destruction and enrich a few will connected millionaires and a few crooked board members.

  16. Hashem is watching and knows everything these people will not get away with it after 120. But we need to try our best and remember no one can harm us or hurt us if it’s not Hashem’s will. Extremely challenging to remember in this town.

They'd rather stay in here and get the food, bathroom facilities, medical care, etc.

    1. Why should they agree if they have a good chance of eventually staying in the county. Most cases that actually make it to a judge end up being allowed to stay - even if only while they await further court dates, which are 3 years out.
