Iran Israel Updates Thursday June 26

- WSJ: Iran plans to make billions from reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Iran estimates that security and safety services in the Strait will generate nearly $40 billion a year for the countries involved (Iran and Oman)

The IDF says it struck and killed at least six Hezbollah operatives who posed a threat to troops operating in southern Lebanon today.

-  Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps attacked a Singapore-flagged cargo ship Thursday in the Strait of Hormuz, according to two senior U.S. official

- Vance: "We agreed with the Iranians that a Revolutionary Guard officer and an officer from the US Central Command will sit together in Qatar. That way, we will resolve many of the conflicts between us."

- The Israeli government will officially recognize the Armenian genocide carried out by the Ottoman Empire, after decades in which Israel refrained from doing so for political reasons related to Turkey.

- Quds Force Commander of the Revolutionary Guards: "If Israel does not voluntarily withdraw from South Lebanon today, it will be forced to leave there tomorrow defeated

- A senior U.S. official told Reuters that Israel has withdrawn from part of southern Lebanon, and the Lebanese army will deploy there instead.According to the senior official, the Israeli withdrawal is a gesture of “good will” toward the Lebanese government.

- Rubio: The Iranian regime is still led by extremist clerics. This has always been the case, and it continues to be so today.

- Rubio: “You're not going to have peace and stability in this region as long as there are non-state actors operating within the boundaries and borders of sovereign countries and being funded by Iran."

- Israeli, Lebanese officials deny US claim that IDF withdrew from parts of Lebanon

- Oil prices have fallen to prewar levels as the United States say flows through the Strait of Hormuz are nearing normal, and its top diplomat wraps up a Gulf tour aimed at winning support for a preliminary Iran deal. US Energy Secretary Chris Wright says shipments through the strait are approaching levels seen before the US and Israel launched strikes on Iran on February 28, with at least 20 million barrels exiting the strait in the previous 24 hours.

- Ghalibaf disputed Trump’s statement about the use of funds: “America falsely claims that the assets unfrozen for us will be used to purchase American agricultural products. Interesting. The only crop we harvest is what you sowed: decades of distrust. It is organic, abundant, and grows at home. But apparently, the United States only exports genetically modified soybeans, broken promises, and nonsense.”

- A IDF  reserve soldier was lilled in an “operational accident” in southern Lebanon last night. Basil Sweid, 32, a truck driver from Peki’in. The military says Sweid was killed when his refueling truck overturned in the Rab al-Thalathine area.

- Rubio claims Israel-Lebanon talks close to yielding ‘commitment of intent’

- Israel and Lebanon are making good progress in their talks in the United States and are close to making a “commitment of intent,” US Secretary of State Marco Rubio claims,

- The IDF has postponed the demolition of several Hezbollah terror infrastructures in southern Lebanon amid the current ceasefire with the terror group, The Times of Israel has learned.

- A tunnel in the southern Lebanon village of Majdal Zoun, which reporters visited last week, has not yet been demolished.

- A Palestinian Islamic Jihad commander was killed in an Israeli strike in the southern Gaza Strip this week, the military announces.

Meanwhile on the Home Front,a message to the Buyers of Howell shul,a little History,The Original Shul was on Peskin Lane and in 50s and 60s it was Mostly Holocaust Survivors where it was Open to All.It merged with other shul and went Downhill from there.The current Bd has no connection to the Past. Realize there are 1000's of Fellow Souls all around there who dont even Know an Aleph and all I can say is that These very Survivors are watching you Carefully what you will do with Their Shul
