The FBI first received intelligence on the plot on June 10, days before it was carried out. A Signal group used to coordinate the operation had 23 members - 5 have been arrested so far. One of those arrested told investigators the goal was to target "billionaires and capitalists" receiving money from the Jewish lobby AIPAC.

- More travel chaos is expected for Tuesday’s World Cup match at MetLife Stadium, with nearly 30,000 train tickets reportedly still unsold as of Monday evening. Transit officials are urging fans to plan ahead amid concerns that transportation issues could once again impact travel to and from the event.

- Three Lakewood police officers were suspended following internal investigations into separate incidents involving a vehicle pursuit and the handling of an injured crash victim. One officer was disciplined for violating pursuit policies, while two others received 10-day suspensions for failing to provide aid to an injured motorist despite repeated requests for medical assistance. All three officers remain employed and were ordered to undergo additional training.

- Central Jersey Hatzolah has unveiled a new $400,000 ambulance funded through a grant secured by Assemblyman Avi Schnall. It will be the first ambulance dedicated specifically to the Howell community

- Toms River residents will see no municipal tax increase for the fifth consecutive year after the Township Council approved Mayor Daniel Rodrick’s $142.2 million budget. The municipal tax rate remains at 43.7 cents per $100 of assessed value, keeping the average homeowner’s municipal tax bill at about $1,969 annually. APP

- Dime Commercial Bank has opened a branch in Lakewood, the 162-year-old bank's first location outside of its New York home turf. The new two-story building, which has a Dime branch on the first floor, is located at 500 Boulevard of the Americas.

- The FBI is handling an investigation following an ICE agent being struck by a vehicle while trying to pull it over, officials said. The incident occurred at about 9:30 a.m. Monday on Route 72 near Mermaid Drive, Stafford police said.
