Iran Israel Updates Tuesday June 23

- NY Post cover mocks Iran deal "Easy Mullah"as The US government on Monday formally waived oil sanctions on Iran for two months allowing for up to $10 billion in revenue as nuclear talks continued with Iranian officials in Switzerland.

- Trump: 19 Millions Barrels of Oil flowed out of the Hormuz Strait yesterday, an all time RECORD. Oil prices are tumbling down, and the World is a much safer place!!! President DONALD J. TRUMP

- The Iranian news agency Fars contradicts Trump's words: "According to a security source, only a limited number of ships have been given permission to cross the Strait of Hormuz; the amount will change daily according to conditions

- The Iranian government officially contradicts JD Vance's announcement: there is no plan to allow IAEA inspectors to visit nuclear facilities that were damaged in the war.

-Trump on Truth Social: Despite their protestations and false statements to the contrary...Iran has fully and completely agreed to highest level Nuclear inspections long into the future (Infinity!!!). This will insure “Nuclear a qHonesty.” If they did not agree to this, there would be no further negotiations! Based on this and other major concessions being made by Iran, I have agreed to allow the Hormuz Strait to remain OPEN, with no further Naval Blockade. However, all ships are remaining in place should it be necessary to reinstitute the Blockade, which seems, at this point, highly unlikely. The Money and/or Sanctions that the U.S. Treasury is releasing goes into escrow, controlled by the U.S.A., and will be used for the purchase of food and medical supplies, exclusively from the United States, including Corn, Wheat, and Soybeans from our great American Farmers. These are things that are desperately needed by Iran. This is a humanitarian crisis, and I feel it is necessary to help, NOW, before it is too late. Talks are going well! Thank you for your attention to this matter President DONALD J. TRUMP”

- Iranian Head of Negotiations Ghalibaf: Iran and Oman established a joint committee to discuss the Strait of Hormuz; details will be provided later.

- IDF: We attacked armed terrorists operating near our forces in the security zone in Lebanon, in the Ali a-Tahr Ridge area. “Immediately after identification, the forces attacked the terrorists north of the security zone to eliminate the threat."

- Hezbollah says Israel violated the ceasefire by opening fire on a “group of civilians” near Nabatieh in southern Lebanon today.

- On eve of direct Jerusalem-Beirut talks, Israel vows to maintain presence in Lebanon
5th round of negotiations in DC kicks off Tuesday; Lebanese PM says he won’t let ‘any other party’ negotiate for Beirut, after Tehran insists halt to IDF strikes there is precondition to its own talks with US
