Iran Israel Updates Tues June 16

- Ambassador Mike Huckabee: "Without Israel, without the Jewish foundation, there would not be an America. We owe our very existence to what happened in this land."

- Former Vice President Mike Pence on Iran: "Its' my view that we would be better off allowing the armed forces of the United States to finish the job, on our terms, open the Strait, take down their offensive capabilities and give the people of Iran a real shot at freedom."

- The Iranian Khatam al-Anbiya Armed Forces Command threatens Israel: "The army of the Zionist terrorist entity violated the ceasefire in southern Lebanon 84 times in the last two days, after the American president declared the end of the war, and it continues to commit crimes and massacres against the oppressed Lebanese people. If the army of the Zionist entity does not cease its actions in southern Lebanon, it should expect a harsh response from the mighty Iranian armed forces.

- U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee says Iran and Hezbollah are not linked in the reported deal.Responding to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Huckabee wrote: “Fortunately, @SecRubio made clear that Iran & Hezbollah aren’t linked in a deal. Israel doesn’t need Iran’s permission to defend itself. The tether of terror must end.”

- The intelligence assessment in Israel, as conveyed in recent days to the political leadership, is that Mojtaba Khamenei does not want to reach a final agreement, and that approving the framework agreement stems from a desire to open the Strait of Hormuz and provide an economic boost to the regime—but NOT to make concessions on the nuclear issue.

- Saudi outlet Al Arabiya is publishing, it claims, the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran.

Its clauses, in brief:

- An immediate and permanent end to the war on all fronts, including Lebanon.  

- The U.S. will immediately lift the naval blockade on Iran and prevent “any interference” on the matter.  

- The U.S. will withdraw all its forces from the region within a month of concluding a final agreement.  

- Iran will lift the Hormuz blockade within a month.  

- The U.S. and its “regional partners” commit to formulating a plan for Iran’s reconstruction — funded with at least 300 billion dollars.  

- If the final agreement is implemented, the U.S. will remove all current sanctions on Iran, including all U.N. and IAEA resolutions.  

- Iran commits: “We will never produce nuclear weapons.” The issue of enriched uranium will be settled in the final agreement. Until such an agreement is reached, the U.S. allows Iran to remain in the current status quo of its nuclear program.  

- The U.S. will authorize the export of Iranian crude oil — including banking, insurance, and shipping — and Washington will release all frozen Iranian funds. (Amit Segal)

 - The Wall Street Journal reveals the extent of the US concessions to Iran: Sanctions will be lifted, and Iran will be able to sell oil immediately

- CNN: US intelligence estimates that Iran is now capable of closing the Strait of Hormuz at any time it chooses. A source familiar with the intelligence said, "We have effectively given Iran de facto control over the strait, a weapon more powerful than any nuclear weapon."

- Israel's Ambassador to Washington, Yechiel Leiter, addressed reports claiming that an Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon is a condition for a U.S.-Iran agreement, and clarified: "We are remaining in southern Lebanon to protect the people of Israel, just as any self-respecting country would do."

- President Trump vows to hold a press conference to read the full memorandum of understanding with Iran word-by-word to make sure the media covers it fairly. "I will actually not only release it, I'll probably have a press conference and read it to you word-by-word, so that the press covers it accurately, because it's, it's a very important document." "And, unlike Obama, who could have destroyed the Middle East with a horrible JCPoA, it is the worst agreement that was a road to a nuclear weapon. Mine is a wall against a nuclear weapon."

- Trump announces Qatar will be investing around 19.4 Trillion Dollars into the US... because the money they invested so far in promoting Jew Hatred and hate of Israel wasn't enough, they need more...

- Israel Hayom: Trump is weighing the firing of several senior administration figures who opposed the Iran deal, including Defense Secretary Hegseth and CIA Director Ratcliffe. “The argument has been settled. Those who opposed it may pay a personal price,” a senior U.S. official said.  According to the report, Secretary of State Marco Rubio appears to be safe for now.

- Trump: “I never cared about regime change in Iran, but I assume you received regime change. We are talking with very rational people"

- Trump on the Obama deal with Iran: “Netanyahu came to Washington and begged - yes, begged - before Obama not to sign the deal with Iran. But Obama was on the side of Iran, not Israel, and in the end he signed the deal. This deal was a disaster"

- Hezbollah has received assurances from its backer Iran that it will demand a withdrawal of Israeli troops from Lebanon in its next phase of talks with the United States, Hezbollah’s media relations office tells Reuters.

- President Trump on Israel and Hezbollah:

"Israel is fighting Hezbollah too long, and too many people are being killed."

On Israel striking Hezbollah in Beirut: "I did not like that, I let them know that." Says the attack was "too much."
