Iran Israel Updates Monday June 22

- Reporter to Trump : "Earlier today, the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, said that his forces are not leaving Lebanon."
Trump: "Well, we will look into that."
Reporter: "What will you do to ensure he does not sabotage the agreement?"
President Trump: "I'm not going to tell you what I'm going to do, but it will be resolved. I solve problems, and I solve them very quickly—including with Bibi."

- Iranian Parliament Speaker Gahlibaf: The signing for the release of frozen Iranian assets worth 12 billion dollars was completed in talks in Switzerland.

- Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson: Tehran has NOT negotiated its nuclear program and has not made any new commitments in talks held with the United States in Switzerland. Iran's cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency will continue in accordance with existing procedures, subject to the approval of the Iranian parliament and the decisions of Iran's Supreme National Security Council.

-Trump: Everybody is fully aware that Iran will agree to have Major Weapons Inspections in order to ensure “Nuclear Honesty” long into the future. President DONALD J. TRUMP

- NYT: IDF commanders in Lebanon have been restricted, and soldiers are authorized to fire only in response to an immediate threat, unless they receive direct authorization from the IDF Chief of Staff. Without authorization from senior

- The US is removing sanctions on Iranian oil: 'Temporary authorization for 60 days, following successful talks in Switzerland"

- Netanyahu: "My directive and that of the Minister of Defense to the IDF is clear and has not changed: Our soldiers in southern Lebanon have full freedom of action to thwart any direct or emerging threat to them or to the residents of the north. The IDF has no restrictions in this regard. I stand firm that we will remain in the security zone in southern Lebanon as long as necessary to protect the residents of the north and all citizens of the country."

- Sen. Lindsey Graham said Sunday that he expects the newly signed U.S.-Iran framework agreement to unravel and warned that President Trump is prepared to use military force to take control of the Strait of Hormuz if diplomacy fails.

- Mark R. Levin: Israel has boots on the ground fighting Hezbollah terrorists who murdered Americans. And they’re losing soldiers. Not a damn word of appreciation let alone acknowledgment. No role in deterring what’s in any deal. The countries that fund terrorism are actually making decisions at our behest about the future of the Israelis and Lebanese. Just more insanity.

- Iran contradicts official statements from the US after talks in Switzerland: The Iranian Tasnim news agency, affiliated with the IRGC, writes that "the entry of inspectors from the IAEA into Iran CONTRADICTS the understanding agreement and may cause significant damage. Until now, the issue of granting approval for the entry of agency inspectors into Iran HAS NOT been approved by the Iranian negotiation team or by other official government bodies, and it is better that it remains so and is never approved"

- JD Vance: "What we told the Iranians yesterday is that when you guys engage in what us millennials might call trash talk, you can't expect the president of the United States not to respond and not to correct the record.

- Vance: The Israelis were very clear that they have no territorial ambitions in Lebanon; they are there only to prevent the firing into Israel

- Vance: There is progress in the talks; Iran agreed to allow IAEA inspectors to check the enrichment facilities

- JD Vance, in a statement from the summit in Switzerland, said, "We wanted to build a mechanism that will deal with a regional ceasefire. If there is fighting between Israel and Hezbollah, the mechanism will bring them to talks." According to him, the US and Iran also established a technical mechanism for the continuation of talks between the sides”

- Iranian news agency Tasnim, affiliated with the IRGC, celebrates the agreements reached with the US in Switzerland: "Iran has become, contrary to the wishes of the US and Israel, part of the security arrangement in Lebanon and has succeeded in establishing mechanisms to implement the first clause in the Lebanese arena

- IDF says: “The IDF struck a terrorist in Hamas’s military wing while he was traveling in a vehicle in the Gaza City area. The claim that an uninvolved civilian was harmed as a result of the strike is known. The IDF regrets any harm to uninvolved civilians and operates, whenever possible, to minimize such harm.”

- Ben Gvir, “Netanyahu needs to go to President Trump, embrace him, and say to him: ‘President Trump, thank you, but what can we do, we cannot fulfill this agreement. You wouldn’t tolerate having Nazis on your border. You wouldn’t tolerate your soldiers being attacked and being limited in terms of the response. Our response must be 100 percent.'”

- US Vice President JD Vance says the US seeks to create a process to ensure that any unfrozen Iranian assets would be used to “benefit” the Iranian people rather than fund terrorism, by directing the funds to American purchases.

  1. Maybe somebody could explain to the farm boy Ben gvir that from the US standpoint Israel is free to do whatever they want on their own dime.... if they want/need the US to back them up financially militarily at every opportunity they need to follow along.

  5. Did Hezbollah commit to not attacking Israel?
If not, they're fair game in attack targets.
Same with Iran not committing to not attack Israel.

  6. All comments from people living comfortably outside EY with the thought that if they have any issue, they will call chavairim as well as 911. Out the window goes bitachon when it becomes lemaisa.
How sad that these commentators think that Hashem loves them but not His children in EY.
