- Air quality alerts have been issued for 12 counties in New Jersey including Monmouth and Ocean county because of high levels of ground-level ozone pollution expected on Friday as temperatures turn steamy.

The alerts will be active from 11 a.m. through 11 p.m. Friday 

- Tax Dollars: NJ Governor Mikie Sherrill announced that New Jersey is adding $12 million more to expand legal aid for illegals  facing detention or deportation, bringing the total to $20.2 million. The state is also creating a rapid-response program to provide emergency immigration legal help and support immigrant families.

- Keren Olam HaTorah Delegation Coming to Lakewood. A Kabolas Ponim for the Gedolei Eretz Yisroel representing Keren Olam HaTorah is scheduled to twke place next Thursday in front of  BMG Bais Aharon and Bais Sholom Botei Medrash  at 9th Street and Clifton Avenue in Lakewood the same location where a similar gathering was held two years ago. According to reports. 

Organizers are calling it the largest delegation of Gedolei Yisroel ever to travel to the United States on behalf of Keren Olam HaTorah. As part of the campaign, the public is being encouraged to contribute financially. The cost of supporting one month of an avreich’s learning is $276, which works out to just $23 per month when spread over the course of a year.
