- Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will fly to Washington on Tuesday for a meeting with President Donald Trump, returning to Israel early Friday morning.
- The IDF said it will reduce the number of days reservists are required to serve under routine call-up orders not emergency ones from 72 to 55. It will also end several practices that have become commonplace since the start of the war on October 7, 2023.
I am very happy to say that I know no one living in Eretz Yisroel that serves in the IDF, no narishkeit of miliyum and being away from ones mishpacha and serving with frei untznius women, being forced to mop floors on Shabbos. Those who serve in the shmad army dont even have olam hazeh. I am proud to say that I would not ever let anyone from my mishpacha who lives in Eretz Yisroel serve in that shmad army. The idea that Charedim don't serve in the Army is a newfangled one, invented when someone lost his job in a newspaper.
