- Lakewood: The New Jersey Appellate Division has approved the application of Yeshiva Chemdas HaTorah to add parking that could bring up to 500 additional cars to the area of James Street and Cross Street in Lakewood.
In a major upset to neighbors and commuters, the New Jersey Appellate Division on Friday issued a decision approving Yeshiva Chemdas Hatorah's project to construct 125 duplex homes plus basement apartments on Cross Street and James Street in Lakewood, FAA News reports more

- Giyus: Avraham Ben Dayan, a yungerman detained for failing to report for enlistment, was released this morning after nearly a week in military custody. Arrested at his home in the moshav of Tifrach, he was held in a military prison since Motzaei Shabbos. During his detention, Ben Dayan complained of harsh treatment, including being shackled, denied access to study in the shul, and prevented from putting on tefillin on his first day.

- A Yeshiva University student was violently assaulted in an attempted robbery tonight at the 181st Street subway station in NYC, an area with no cameras or police presence.
