NJ weather: Winter storm watch issued for all 21 counties with up to 6 to 10 inches in forecast
Winter Storm Watches are now in effect for much of the region for Sunday into Monday, with the bulk of the storm occurring Sunday night into early Monday. Widespread snowfall of 5 or more inches is possible.
The potential for snowfall continues to increase for Sunday into Monday, however exact amounts for specific locations remain uncertain. The probability of 2" or more is about 60-80%, and for 6" or more is about 20-40%. according to the NWS
NYC Emergency Management said that the National Weather Service is forecasting 6–10 inches of snow with wind gusts up to 40 mph from Sunday morning through Monday evening.
