ReplyDeleteRight, the new Bais Kaila hall will only be used for Shabbos. As if. Just like the gratter building which PROMISED on record to only use it for Shabbos and they got variances to build right up to the sidewalk instead of having the hall, and guess what? The hall is booked nearly every night with nightmare parking (bc of course no need for parking for a shabbos hall...) The township planning board just keeps screwing over the people in this town.
ReplyDeleteAnd Bnos Devorah hall was also supposed to close once the wedding halls are operational.. bla bla basically you can do what you want with connections but they shut down yeshivos on Cross st and go after the weak ones
DeleteSo again LSTA not offering transportation after charging parents for it
DeleteAnd the Bais Reuven Kamenitz Simcha Hall (aka Ridge Terrace Hall) gave sworn professional testimony that they have more than enough parking spaces because the guests all come 3 people in 1 car. So now their guests clog Farmers Drive and a long stretch of Ridge Avenue. Just wait to see the shocked faces of the future residents on Farmers Drive when they move into their new houses and cannot get in or out of their driveways. But no worries.. the developer will be totally fine while he laughs all the way to the bank.
DeleteThere’s currently no one to file complaints with regarding the LSTA, and the oversight committee has seemingly disappeared. Many powerful askanim rabbonim or roshei mosdos are either too intimidated or unwilling to take action, leaving a system with no real accountability.
DeleteBuses are regularly showing up late, and there’s no one taking responsibility for it. Parents feel bullied when they try to raise issues with transportation, and there’s no clear channel for them to voice complaints or seek resolution.
The LSTA controls mandated busing using taxpayer dollars, and there has to be a system in place where they are held accountable for their actions. The lack of transparency and communication is unacceptable, especially when it’s impacting the daily lives of so many families.
We need a system where those responsible for busing answer for their failures. The current situation is not sustainable.
Stop trying to make an issue from a tissue. It's self-understood that you can't force people to work on their chagga, just like you would refuse to work on your yom tov. I've never had an issue with the LSTA. Is it perfect? No, it isn't. Are there minor inconveniences once in a big while? Of course there are. Just like with everything else in life... Take a chill pill and try being a good role model for your kids instead of kvetching so much!
Deletearent the askanim making sure things are being done on behalf of the klal?
DeleteYou appear disconnected from the realities others face, casually dismissing their suffering with mockery and leitzanus rather than understanding or to be נושא בעול. It’s easy to trivialize pain until you’re the one experiencing it
DeleteAny issues with buying a lottery tonight because of nittel nacht
DeleteAny complaints against LSTA can be filled with the ... State Assembly and Senate ... which funds them. Good luck.
DeleteHey 12:17, Leaving comments on the treife internet is by all means a much bigger issue
Delete2:08
DeleteCompound it.
How about getting a lotto on the internet?
Contact the Local BOE they are ultimately responsible for all things transportation to school. Reach out to them in Lakewood Or Jackson or Howell etc..
ReplyDeleteThe biggest chutzpah is the complete silence from Assemblyman Avi Schnall regarding ongoing issues with LSTA. While he has no problem using his influence to introduce bills targeting utility companies and other industries, he remains completely silent when it comes to the transportation problems affecting his own constituents. Not a single word from him or his PR team just a deafening silence.
ReplyDeleteParents and children are struggling daily with late buses, lack of accountability, and a broken system that no one seems willing to address. The fact that Assemblyman Schnall is turning a blind eye to these issues, while focusing on other matters, speaks volumes.
It’s time for him to step up and take responsibility for the issues affecting the families in his district
Has the Assemblyman helped anybody with a constituent problem? Other than nursing home owners (insurance reimbursement) and property owners (appointment within four hours). Tuition tax credits (no), widen the nine (no), property tax relief(no), the last three he (supposedly) campaigned on two years ago.
DeleteJefferson to John Adams:
Delete‘I agree with you that there is a natural aristocracy among men. The grounds of this are virtue and talents…There is also an artificial aristocracy, founded on wealth and birth, without either virtue or talents…’
The inconveniences and issues we have here with the bussing is nothing compared to what those involved will get paid back after 120!!! There's no checks and balances in any department in this township!!! Frankly it's simply disgusting the way this wmtown is run. Yes as anonymous 1:07pm mentioned only the issues that can line schnalls pockets are the ones he resolved. It's obvious to the blind.
ReplyDeleteIt's run by bullies for bullies anyone who's weak and not well connected is stepped on and fighting for their life its disgusting how things are.
DeletePeople literally are used and have to fend for themselves just for daily survival
& people still pretend to outsiders this town is jewish?!
DeleteWill this new belz community be Yingel Belz
ReplyDeleteYes. All the way.
