-  A federal judge temporarily blocked the state of New York on Tuesday from forcing medical workers to be vaccinated after a group of health care workers sued, saying their Constitutional rights were violated because the state's mandate disallowed religious exemptions.

- Update on Bus accident: Lakewood police said one of the vehicles struck was unoccupied and that circumstances of the crash are under investigation. The bus was en route to Bais Shaindel, a religious school in the township about two miles from where the crash occurred. Some of the students went home with their parents while others continued to school on a different bus. Many were checked by paramedics, but none needed to go to the hospital (NJ)

- Two days after the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, President Donald Trump's top military adviser, Gen. Mark Milley, took top-secret action to limit Trump from potentially ordering a dangerous military strike or launching nuclear weapons, according to "Peril," a new book by  journalist Bob Woodward. General Milley told China in a secret phone call that he would give advance warning if the U.S. was ever going to attack 

 - A Superior Court judge ordered the  temporary closing of a yeshiva high school in Brick at the former Beth Or property on Route 70 and Van Zile Rd after it opened without planning board approval, but left the door open for the school's speedy reopening. The judge  ordered the township to conduct a safety inspection of the school .Another court hearing on the matter will be held Wednesday afternoon (APP)

- Israel covid numbers  10,744 new covid cases 673 serious condition 194 critical and 240 on respirators, 46 deaths since yesterday. Death toll at 7428

- Schools bus lands on top of parked cars on 11th and Forest ave in Lakewood after an accident when it crashed. There were 15 children in the bus B"H all are said to be ok. Heavy police activity at the scene. Parents of children came down to the scene as police investigate.
