    1. I happen to be pro the covid vaccine, although I have not received it (as I had covid)
Vaccines are histadlos. May not be for everyone, but the fact is (and medical science backs in) vaccines work and protect from serious illness and death. Yes some get sick from the vaccine, but many many have died from covid. There have been many miscarriages in Lakewood from covid as well. Each person should speak to their morah derech and doctor and make a informed decision. Blanket letters anti vaccines don't help anyone.

    2. How do you know whether they were vaccinated or not?

In the pre Corona days (two years ago) the Rov of my shul before Neilah (among other things) said that everyone should go for their yearly physicals because too many people have collapsed and died the past and al pi derech hataevh such a thing is impossible without a preexisting condition that could have been detected and treated beforehand.

    3. What does vaccinating have to do with anything? People can collapse chalila for any number of reasons: aneurysm, heart attack etc. Covid is not the be all and end all of Life.

  2. Not everything that happens is related to being vaccinated or not. There are plenty of other things that happen in life.

    1. But they blame everything on the non vaccinated and ignore all effects from the vaccination

    2. Not everything is vaccine or covid related but it is kinda weird to have 3 people with no known illnesses suddenly die on the same day in a medium size town. Thats why people rightfully want to know if they"happened" to get the vaccine. This way they can make their own informed decisions as to the benefits vs risks of it. The media is doing a great job reporting every time someone dies of covid without the vaccine. It would only be fair to also report when someone's death may be caused by the vaccine. Fair enough?

  3. I keep seeing ads for the clifton ave shuk, but those ads make no mention of the blue claws shuk.

    Why?

  4. She was NIFTER. She is a Nifteres. But one can not say 'she was Nifteres'.

    1. No. In nifal form, you would say "nifterah" for past tense, or "nifteres" for present tense which is more correct if adding the word "was"

    2. Does Niftar/Nifteres have anything to do with being vaccinated?
      Just checking.
