  1. oy our rabbinim both Hasidish and Litvish are suffering so much under the stress of the Zionist gezerios and their war on Torah and criminilization of learning Torah, these times are similar to the gezeiros of Nikolay and the Cantonists. We know what happened to Nikolay and the Zionists can expect a similar end. The Torah will prevail.

I am in Lakewood almost 40 years. I remember no reaurants, no pizza store, No bagel Store, No Kosher Liquor store. No Storefront clothing stores. R & S had on row of single seats at the side of the store.
Kolel Food store exsisted & the Co-op out of the simcha room (now Bais sholom I think) Basement, the side room. Actually The Rosh Yeshiva Reb Malkiel made his son's Bris seuda, at bein Hasdorim in the simcha room.
The biggest grocery store was KFS, and it was smaller than it is today by far.
What is the big simcha another restaraunt? Many claiming no money for tuition, who could aford eating in all these restaurnats. What happens when they don't make it?
How do the owners make a living if we close them
Lakewood has more people learning Torah full time than ever, but was once an ir hatorah, & only Torah.
    What happened?
Is this what we really want?

He doesnt condemn vandalism on the capital reflection pool, he likes crime in DC and chicago and Newark, Camden , trenton, etc. Why not creat safe cities??? He has done nothing to help the BOE districts that are going broke with federal funding.
