- President Trump will return to his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey on Thursday, his fifth time during his current term.While in Bedminster, he will receive an intelligence briefing from the National Security Council on the ongoing hostilities in the Middle East. In a recent interview with Kol Mevaser, Rabbi Moshe Dweck, Shlita, Chief Rabbi of Eatontown, New Jersey, and a recognized authority on the halachic aspects of travel through Egypt shared valuable insights for those journeying through the region, particularly travelers returning to the U.S. via Egypt.

Rabbi Dweck, whose family has historical roots in the region, noted that there are halachic opinions regarding the recitation of a bracha upon seeing the area of the Yam Suf, where Bnei Yisrael crossed during Yetziat Mitzrayim. Some poskim rule that one should recite the blessing of She'asah Nisim La'avoteinu BaMakom HaZeh”

Regarding the issur (prohibition) of returning to Egypt, Rabbi Dweck explained that there is a range of halachic views. Some authorities hold that the prohibition applies only to settling permanently in Egypt, not to temporary travel or transit. Others maintain that certain areas, such as Sharm El Sheikh, are geographically outside the borders associated with the original Torah prohibition of returning to Mitzrayim and may therefore be excluded from the issur.

- A homeless encampment in Lakewood is being dismantled after orders from the police. The homeless camp, is perched in the woods off Route 70 at the edge of Lakewood on the  border with Brick About 10 to 12 homeless people have been living in the woods here for the last several months, setting up a makeshift tent community, 

The camp site straddles the boundary of Brick and Lakewood, and has been visited by police from both towns, .”

 The Rishon LeZion former chief Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef, issued a dramatic halachic ruling that eases the laws of the 3 weeks and permits weddings to be held during this period as well (for Sefardim)– from the 17th of Tammuz until Rosh Chodesh Av.
