People have recently traveled through Egypt to Sharm el sheik and all was well. There are hardly any people who live in that part of the Sinai. There are numerous checkpoints by the army through the jouney ensuring safe passage and that no nefarious people are traveling or making trouble. I know plenty of people who did the journey from Taba to Sharm el Sheik without security and were fine bh. People are flying from Sharm el shiek out to Europe or Cairo airport. Airports are safe and have tight security.
