- CBS News: US officials have been told Israel is now “fully ready” to launch an operation into Iran, with this being a primary reason for the announced evacuation of the US Embassy in Baghdad and the General Consulate in Erbil, as well as the departure of military dependents from the Middle East. US officials are concerned that Iran could launch attacks against US bases in the region in response.

- New poll NY : Zohran Mamdani, the Pro-Hamas democratic socialist, leads Andrew Cuomo  35%-31% with two weeks until the NYC Mayoral Democratic primary, marking his first lead, according to a POLITICO-reviewed Public Policy Polling survey for Justin Brannan’s comptroller campaign.

- Vote by opposition to dissolve knesset fails by 61- 53

- Cautious optimism reported in Giyus  law negotiations with possible break-through  for now it seems the vote to dissolve the knesset has been postponed for later

- Eretz Hakodesh disqualified from WZO election in England over voter fraud claims

after an investigation discovered breaches of registration rules.This was the first time that Eretz hakodesh slate was running in England and had the support of Rav Avrohom Gurwitz shlita. The disqualifying came after EHK published an advertisement suggesting that husbands could register on behalf of their wives and children to vote – a breach of the WZO rules, which require each voter to register individually and sign up for the Jerusalem Programme. Britain has just 19 out of 525 seats at the Congress

-Dramatic day in Israel tonight, the vote on whether Israel will go to an election (in 3 months) is on the docket, and if Bibi's coalition members from the Ultra Orthodox will vote in favor. Bibi's government will fall.

-Giyus: Shas party is currently placing pressure on UTJ’s Degel HaTorah faction to withdraw its support for measures to dissolve the Knesset for another week in order to provide Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with more time to broker an agreement. The MK's of Agudah faction have been instructed to vote on dissolution regardless 

-Giyus: 54,000 draft notices will be sent out starting June,30 IDF officials say they will crack down and enforce those not complying not only at airports but are coming up with more creative ideas to enforce those who don't comply. 

- Giyus: Sefardi roshei Yeshiva warn shas MK;s against supporting any draft law if they go along with the current version which will allow the drafting of up to 50% of eligible charedim and yeshiva boys.

- Inflation Data comes in Lower than Expected The U.S. Consumer Price Index (CPI) for May 2025 indicated an inflation rate of 2.4% year-over-year, slightly below the anticipated 2.5%

- President Trump confirmed early Wednesday that the US reached a “deal” with China following intense, marathon trade negotiations in London.

“Our deal with China is done, subject to final approval with President Xi and me,” Trump announced on Truth Social Wednesday in full capitalization. “Full magnets, and any necessary rare earths, will be supplied, up front, by China.” “Likewise, we will provide to China what was agreed to, including Chinese students using our colleges and universities (which has always been good with me!). We are getting a total of 55% tariffs, China is getting 10%. The relationship is excellent! Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

he days after Shavuos ushered in a week bursting with achdus, the spirit of ke'ish echad b'lev echad.

At Adirei HaTorah, tens of thousands of voices rang out, simply giving praise for this great gift of Torah- pure, unadulterated joy, and pure achdus.

What a burst of energy to welcome the week!

For me personally, it was one long Yom Tov, as the next day, my Rebbe, the Gerrer Rebbe zohl zein gezunt arrived in America.

The Rebbe is not young, and he has not been well, but he deeply feels the distress of the families he carries on his heart and mind. For the first time since he assumed the mantle of leadership nearly three decades ago, he has come to ask his American chassidim to help their fellow chassidim in Eretz Yisrael, kollel yungeleit who are contending with the loss of the government stipend.

"If the yungeleit cannot put bread and milk on their tables," the Rebbe told me, "then I cannot sleep at night". The pain was audible in his voice, one man carrying a burden of tens of thousands. There is mesiras nefesh in his coming, and mesiras nefesh in the reaction, chassidim here responding with extraordinary generosity.

It is not just the Gerrer Rebbe. Next week, a delegation of Rebbes and Roshei Yeshiva from Eretz Yisrael are planning a similar trip, a group of older men undertaking a journey so that they can help others.

It is the koach of Mattan Torah, a sign of the achrayus that binds us, which we received at the same moment, each one of us responsible for his friend.
