-Israel  launches strikes and attacks Iran

- Axios is reporting that the Trump admin has told Israel that the US will NOT be directly involved in any Israeli military strike against Iran's nuclear facilities, but will potentially assist with intelligence. No word on logistics.

- The WSJ is reporting that Israel may attack Iran in the coming days if Tehran refuses US demands in the nuclear talks. The attack may take place as early as Sunday if Iran refuses US demands to stop uranium enrichment.

- Speaking to reporters earlier after being forced out of a press conference held by Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem in Los Angeles, U.S. Democratic Senator Alex Padilla stated, “I was not arrested. I was not detained. I will say this. If this is how this administration responds to a senator with a question, if this is how the department of homeland security responds to a senator with a question, you can only imagine what they're doing to farmworkers, to cooks, to day laborers out in the Los Angeles community and throughout California and throughout the country. We will hold this administration accountable.”

- Drought Watch in New Jersey

The long drought warning in New Jersey has officially ended. However, eight counties, including Southern Ocean County, are now under a drought watch.

-Trump warned of the potential for a significant conflict, emphasizing that an Israeli attack on Iran is "definitely possible." He also shared concerns about whether or not to warn U.S. personnel at American missions, stating, "I don’t want to be the one who didn’t warn the people."

- ICE Arrests: ICE agents were reported making arrests in Lakewood today.

- Zoning Board Applications:

BMG is seeking approval to create 74 lots at the new Hampshire campus.

Hatzolah is applying for a garage at East County Line Road.

- Jackson School District Lawsuit: The Jackson School District, which lost $22.4 million in state funding, is suing the state in an effort to recover the lost funds.

Two Rite Aid locations in Toms River are closing:

-Air India 171 Crash

Air India flight 171, a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, crashed near Ahmedabad airport during takeoff with approximately 242 passengers on board.

A 40-year-old man from the U.K. is the sole survivor, sitting in seat 11A at the time of the crash. Remarkably, he sustained only minor injuries and was found by search-and-rescue teams.

 Staten Island Press Conference on Antisemitism

Over a dozen representatives from various organizations, interfaith communities, and law enforcement gathered to speak out against antisemitism at a press conference at the Jewish Community Center in Sea View on Wednesday.

Borough President Vito Fossella: "Here on Staten Island, if you provoke or attack someone just for being Jewish, you will be prosecuted and sent to jail."

- Trump on L.A. Safety: Trump commented on the safety in Los Angeles over the last two nights, praising the National Guard and Marines for their role in controlling crime. "Without the military, Los Angeles would have been a crime scene," he stated, criticizing Governor Gavin Newsom’s handling of the situation.
