How many votes were thrown out?
ReplyDeleteSo far 20,000. More pending hearings.
DeleteTreif money
ReplyDeleteIt’s a kosher as HUD
DeleteWhich politicians in NJ do you support and get money from????
Delete20,000 easy-to-get Lakewood votes would of put EH ahead of reform. What a shame that didn't happen
ReplyDeleteYes, the same non voters will now vote for the gay rights lover Gotheimer.
DeleteChillul Hashem.
Yup, the rabbonim in EY should come out against the Lakewood Vaad and their support of these toeiva politicians. just like the Americans bashing eretz hakodesh. Its easy to bash when its not your pocket
Deleteאשרי העם
ReplyDeletewho didn't vote and listened to Rav Dov Landau and the Roshei yeshiva
On the flip side the EH campaign only raitzed uhn the Reform and they woke up a sleeping dead organization where the Reform breathed new life into it
8:39pm
DeleteI beg to differ.
The reform were energized by the Frum’s lack of אחדות. That’s why they put pashkevil all over the place.
Had we been together, the reform would be gurnisht in comparison.
IMHO this was a waste of a golden opportunity. We could have minimized the reform’s influence in Israeli politics.
נישט צו פארשטיין

DeleteThe Reform were energized by Eretz Hakodesh they are responsible for bringing the reform and conservative back to life
5:51 Nonsense, the reform only got energized from all the tumult and controversy, had everything been kept normal we would have wiped them clean
DeleteWelcome to the עלמא דשקרא
ReplyDeleteGotheimer Kosher
Eretz Hakodesh Treif
Yes, 8:22PM, you are 100% correct.
We lost at least 20,000 votes to the Reform.
Is this what the kanaim wanted?
To Strengthen the reform?
I’m so disheartened
The kanaim???
DeleteAre you talking about the chifetz chaim Rav Chaim Ozer the Chazon Ish and all gedolei yisroel of the last 120 years?
The BMG roshei yeshiva
Rav Dov Landau
Rav Moshe Hillel Hirsch
There's a reason why the bnei Torah and a big chelek of klal yisroel didn't touch these elections
But Matzav and YWN are touting this as a BIG WIN
Deleteafter all they are the trusted frum media
5:55am
DeletePlease stop bringing up the Gedoilim of previous generations.
Do you think the Roshei Yeshivas and Rebbes that said to vote in 2025 would go against our Mesorah??
Ch’v.
They know what you know and much much more.
And yet they held it is ok (sorry- a mitzvah) to vote.
So please stop with this holier than thou attitude by at the least acknowledging that this was חילוקי דיעות between חשובים.
Let’s leave it at that and stop with the hyperbole
We have no business getting involved. The Chofetz Chaim, Rav Elchonon and all the Gedolei Olom if they were here today would be opposed. Those who are for it are just trying to get some $.
ReplyDelete5:57 stupid hypocritical comment. If the Chofetz Chaim, Rav Elchonon and all the Gedolei Olom were here today, they would be even more opposed to people like you preaching righteousness and pretending to be farfumpt while leaving comments on the treifene internet.
DeleteReally? Ya think the chofetz chaim would be ok with you spending time on hock sites like HV with all the Lashon Hora and worse that goes on here?!?!?!
Do you think CC would allow BYs to teach the kefirah that goes on over there?
DeleteWould he allow shaving?
Would he allow sechitas chutz?
Under the circumstances EH preformed well, inspite of the Eitz opposition. BH there are still many yidden who listen to the true Gedolei Yisroel like Maran Rav Avrohom Gurwitz Shilita The סמל of עמלות בתורה in our generation. etc etc
ReplyDeleteI doubt Hefkervelt will allow this comment through as in your own way you are not better than the Lakewood (sc){p}oop
Rav Dov Landau called it עבודה זרה
DeleteDo you want to argue with him
Nu the Satmer Rebbe held voting in the Medinah's election was an issur kares and Maran Rav Aharon Kotler zatzal held it was a mitzvah gedolah...(See Mishnas Reb Aharon)
DeleteEretz hakodesh lost seats.
ReplyDeleteInteresting that the same pushers that were pushing to vote for wzo are also pushing to vote guttheimer I assume it's all about the money
ReplyDeleteCan we leave this topic for the modern orthodox community. Lakewood and surroundings is based on the Lakewood Yeshiva and caters primary to the ehrliche chareidi tzibur who really don't care about this non relevant topic!
ReplyDeleteThe 2025 WZC election results are in and ב"ה Eretz Hakodesh received many fewer votes than expected. Despite almost every newspaper and magazine running their ads of נלך ונעבד not to mention their billboards, comedy films, and concerts only 29,000 people voted for EHK. Of course, any one vote for kefirah is a tragedy and chillul Hashem but we should appreciate how many people listened to the call of Rabbonim and Roshei Yeshiva far and wide to stay away from largest church of Zionism on the planet. Some of this is unquestionably due to the creation of other 'frum' parties but those largely targeted populations who already associate themselves with Zionism ר"ל. Yasher koach to everyone who helped spread the yesodos of Yiddishkeit to people who might have overwise been confused. We should take this time to remind ourselves that this fight isn't just about Eretz Hakodesh or the WZO it's about understanding what is Judaism and what is not, if we don't have these basic yesodos clear we will always be susceptible to these מסיסים ומדיחים ח"ו. But בס"ד this was an major success!!
ReplyDeleteCan't even spell מסית right...
DeleteGo JOSH, GO VOTE for JOSH!!! ARE YOU A HYPOCRITE?
Delete"Reform movement celebrates win with top spot of 48,000 votes. The slate said the result shows that the Reform movement is the leading voice of American Jewry. “This is more than just a win for our slate it is a resounding mandate for the values we champion,” Rabbi Rick Jacobs, President of the Union for Reform Judaism, said in a statement."
Delete7:57 must be so proud
Uh...Seeing how many more votes EHK received than they did than last time despite the bitter war , kol koreys and asifos against them it isn't the EHK crowd who need to think about why their message isn't getting across...
DeleteIf you are a Talmud of Rav Gurwitz then by all mean's go ahead and vote however for most bnei torah you should follow most of the gedolei yisrael in today’s day and age and should shun Eretz Hakodesh organization.
ReplyDeleteMost of the gedolei yisrael in today’s day and age did not say any public opinion about this issue.
DeleteI did not hear what Rav Meir stern said or Rav yudi svei Or rav elya Kanarik or Rav Osher Dovid may or Rav avrohom Bramberg or Rav eliyoho levin or Rav eLya chaim swerdloff Or Rave el yagid or Rav Mottel dick or the rosh yeshiva of long beach or scranton i forgot their name etc the list goes on
Deleteso im not sure were the rov here comes from. Ijust hear deffining silence - no one once to fight with select.....
7:57- Amen!
ReplyDeleteEretz hakodesh dropped from 25 to 20 seats. But if you read matzav you would think there's a celebration because they won big.
ReplyDeleteEretz Hakodesh got about 50% more votes this time than they did last time. There is no way that can be framed as losing.
ReplyDeleteAs a voter, I feel unfortunate to bust everyone’s bubble.
DeleteRabbisai, yes, We. Did. Lose.
Klal Yisroel Lost.
And now the Reform can say that they have a mandate.
Look at Rick Jacobs kvelling comment above.
Over 47,000 votes for the “values we champion”
Nebech on us. Did those that didn’t vote not have the foresight to think of this unabashed חלול שם שמים as a result of the Reform Win?
I know there were chashuve דיעות הפוכות here. Some held it was a Mitzva and some held not to vote.
But what about this gevaldigeh חילול שם שמים?
Can someone enlighten me. I’m asking for a friend.
Is Rick Jacobs statement not a patch?
The values of the Reform are a mandate!!!!
I want to puke
You should have puked when you voted for EH and spitting in the face of Rav Dov Landau and 130 years of mesorah.
DeleteDo you think they didn't know the dangers of the Reform movement which was much active back then?
Your vote brought more reform votes!!
Who's Rick Jacob's and why do we care what he has to say?
DeleteEHK should wait for the final numbers before celebrating, so far they lost 6 seats, and more to come as more votes are challenged.
