Israel At War Wed June 4

Israel at war day 607

-United States vetoes UN draft resolution calling for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

-Israel intercepted a drone near the Egyptian border, which was apparently launched from Yemen.

- Israel has blocked Greta Thunberg's boat from reaching Gaza, rejecting the move to avoid setting a dangerous precedent. Defense Minister Katz may order the vessel to be left at sea—or escorted to Ashdod for the arrest of those on board.

- The IDF has eliminated Mahmoud Abu Nar, commander of the Central Gaza Brigade of the Al-Mujahideen Brigades, the organization that kidnapped the Bibas family.

- After rockets were fired at the Golan Heights yesterday - a Syrian official tells Reuters: Remnants of Assad regime-era militias linked to Iran are operating in the Quneitra area. They have an interest in provoking a widespread Israeli response, which would escalate tensions and undermine efforts to stabilize the region

- Underground infrastructure in Khan Yunis was attacked multiple times on Wednesday. It is being investigated whether high-ranking Hamas officials were under the rubble.

    2. Even according to your view of reality , what about the Gemora that says that Hashem wanted to destroy the entire world because of King Yehoyokim (who makes the current Israeli government seem like Tzedikim Gemurim) but did not do so because of the people in his generation. Why aren't the zchoyus of the great kanoim helping anything like righteous people in the generation of Yehoyokim did?

    3. Relative to the Yetzer of then, who convinced you that ''the current Israeli govt seem like'' what was that???

    4. How do you know what anyone's Yetzer Hora is? If you are coming with the "Relative to the Yetzer Hora " argument you can easily say that the given the circumstances they were born into the current Zionists are absolute tzadikim . According to the anti-Zionist propaganda I see they are coming after four generations of a pure Amalek shmad government that has no interest other than destroying Yiddishkeit. And yet eve so 50% of secular Israelis fast on Yom Kippur 75% make a seder etc. Can you imagine how valued they must be by Hashem?

    5. How much do you know about Yehoyokim? Do you even learn the Gemoras that discuss him? If he really had such a strong Yetzer Hora then why did Hashem want to destroy the entire world because of his actions? Why didn't Hashem take his Yetzer Hora into account?

    6. you obviously didn't learn the Gemara either, and we both know it.

  2. As the Torah teaches us, only an army of Bnei Torah can defeat our enemies.

    1. So you support drafting Yeshiva bochurim? Did the army of Achav only have Bnei Torah in it?

    2. Yes.Get rid of all the others.
Like the famous maskilim play , everybody went home except for ..

    3. By that play, the gedolim had no clear enemy to do battle with. Now they do. Shouldn't the gedolim go to war for us now? Give them a machine gun or a ketzos and get rid of those trying to kill yiddin!

  3. Since when is having bachurim waste their time blocking traffic as the Peleg faction does, considered learning Torah??

    1. It's considered learning Torah as much as chasidim standing by the rebbes tish for hours and hours is considered learning torah

    2. Both should be drafted if you ask me. Only those learning Torah should be exempted.
That's how it always was. Rav Shach, Rav Abramsky, the Chazon Ish, and more, all said that only true yeshivaleit should be exempt. For some reason, that precedent is to be forgotten.

    3. Doesn't mean they should be in the frei tzahal.
Send them all overseas for kiruv &/or to get a profession.Ahh ,Israel won't allow that

    4. So you know better than Rav Shach and Rav Abramsky etc.. Sure.

      Delete
    5. of course, rav shach etc. never said anything like that.

    6. Of course, we have multiple letters and speeches from Rav Shach saying precisely that. אותם שלא לומדים, שילכו לצבא

      Delete
    7. of course, such letters do not exist and you just made up a quote

    8. see kvarhaya.blogspot.com for sources from Rav Shach and others

    9. Current day litvish Gedolim say even the slackers shouldn't serve.
That insistence held up a compromise about ten years ago.

    1. It is pretty disgusting to see how some of these filthy social media hockers push any filth that’s sold to them for 50 cents and a short promise. ‏ואין פוצה פה ומצפצף.
For anti-Eretz Yisroel and anti-Zionism there’s plenty of strength to yell and scream, but for these insidious individuals amongst us, crickets.

    2. Fair enough, but off topic.Go after CBN etc

  6. Any chosid standing hours by a Rebbe's Tish is worth 100 times a litvaks learning all day with no beard, no chalav Yisrael, no mikve, etc etc

    1. Chassidus from top to bottom never was & never will be Judaism. At most it borrows from Judaism. At best it was form of positive escapism for those who couldn't survive with real judaism

    2. Can you explain your post intelligently?

    3. I think Anon 6:44 wrote a perfect comment. It shows what happens to a person when he strays from Judaism. Shulchan Aruch that permits shaving the beard is less important than pushing on the bleachers to see the great-grandchild of a ben talmid chacham eat kugel.

  7. According to Rav Shach & Rav Aaron it is ASUR to shave your beard with a electric shaver!! I'm glad you know better than them
