Trump: We have just been informed that Canada, a very difficult Country to TRADE with, including the fact that they have charged our Farmers as much as 400% Tariffs, for years, on Dairy Products, has just announced that they are putting a Digital Services Tax on our American Technology Companies, which is a direct and blatant attack on our Country. They are obviously copying the European Union, which has done the same thing, and is currently under discussion with us, also. Based on this egregious Tax, we are hereby terminating ALL discussions on Trade with Canada, effective immediately. We will let Canada know the Tariff that they will be paying to do business with the United States of America within the next seven day period. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

- Trump reacts: GIANT WIN in the United States Supreme Court! Even the Birthright Citizenship Hoax has been, indirectly, hit hard. - For those who are makpid on following Rav Yehuda Hachasid that there should be no haircuts, shaving or cutting nails on Rosh Chodesh, presumably because of sakana. The Mishna Berura writes specifically that this minhag applies even when Rosh Chodesh is on Friday.
However, there is a shita of Reb Yaakov Kaminetzky ztl who said that the Minhag not to take a haircut on Friday only applies to a one day Rosh Chodesh. Then there is an option to take a haircut on Thursday, which is still considered L’kovid Shabbos. When Rosh Chodesh is two days, taking a haircut Wednesday would not be considered in honor of Shabbos. In that case Reb Yaakov held one could and should take the haircut on Friday, the second day of Rosh Chodesh. Follow your minhag or speak to your LOR

ReplyDeleteIs it clear who won this war?
Are Jews in Iran now in danger?
Are soldiers getting killed in Gaza?
What's the big parties all about?
The party is that the modern day Haman and his cronies suffered an immense & intense humiliating loss. For years and years, Iran threatened and called for Israels death, they supported and supplied Hezbollah and Hamas and constantly fueled their hatred towards us
DeleteIn a mere 12 days, Israel turned Iran into mashed potatoes, dozens of their top military and scientists are dead, hundreds of their commanders killed, obliterated huge amounts of their infrastructure and nuclear capabilities, not one country came to their aid, the powerful regime suffered a most humiliating blow with IDF jets having complete domination over the iranian skies, is this not enough reason to party and thank Hashem ?????
Humiliating Iran serves no purpose, at best it motivates them to double down on their efforts. Reality check, At best they have been delayed Four months or possibly a year Not much more They have Their own uranium mines They can import The knowledge there's always a scientist out there who was willing to help for the right price .Even All their homegrown scientists were eliminated. The situation is sad similar to killing the terrorist Commanders you can kill but the job never ends so at least Stop Believing the propaganda that something useful has been achieved. China is firmly in Iran's corner.
DeleteMir became tzionim
ReplyDeleteAnd you really believe they didn't receive Israeli government funds till now?
DeleteWell now they have affluent alumni, so they didn't have to visit the treifene medina (where their family grew up)
you are a tzioni
DeleteMir probably got a big donation for this. Why would they make a public spectacle out of something that can be done individually
DeleteWhat's si great about Woodburn Shule, Davening LATE,and fressing!?
ReplyDeleteI wonder, are all these cynical, holier than thou 'fressing' comments on various sites over the years just one bitter guy sitting in his mothers' basement all this time?
DeleteWe like ahavas yisroel. Relax.
DeleteIts not 'holier than thou.'
DeleteWe all had certain standards, and we know what Shuls are about. Recently, a change has come about. The decorum we were used to has become 'holier than thou'. The halacha of a Shul having to be a nice building has morphed into muddy tents. Not only has this happened, we are expected to glorify this as some kind of progress.
This has nothing to do with lashon hara and I am happy to show this comment in Olam haba.
(Btw, the religion I subscribe to does not have a prohibition against 'negative comments'. The New age feel good pyschobabble religion does not have a branch in Lakewood.)
So daven in your shul and don’t think about the other ones :)
DeleteYou can't restrain yourself from saying Loshon Horah about others? Where does this come from? You might be anonymous here but in Shomayim they know exactly who you are & there no anonymity in Olom Habah.
ReplyDeleteNext time you feel an urge to make a negative comment, STOP YOURSELF!.
You have a Rav Jungreiss who treats his mitpallelim with respect, gives them a good tfillah, good seforim, good learning, and your complaining about he food?
ReplyDeleteYou have. No concept of what goes. In the real world.
A friend of mine years ago was davening in Shomer Shabbas at midnight years ago -when someone came up to him with a shidduch.
This would never have happened
L we
Condescending 'every yid's a big tzadik' hugs is the opposite of respect.
DeleteRegardless, the issue here is treating a Shul with respect. Minyanim outside, constant food, davening publicly when the proscribed time has ended, is disrespectful to davening.
Sure, the real world is getting offered shiduchim in Shomrei Shabbos. Wow!
DeleteDoes pointing out another Yids flaws make the world a better place? It doesn't. You can notice another persons flaw without publicizing it. That it Rotzon Hashem, so get with the program.
ReplyDeleteIt does,if people are becoming influenced
