  1. Schools are a business. No business can be forced to serve a customer. There is no compassion in business. This petition will solve nothing. What is needed are true pioneers for the sake of the Khal. But even if they opened new schools, many of those currently not accepted anywhere would refuse to go.
Every school has a right to say no and many schools are full. Trying to push for a school where you've been continually rejected is doing a disservice to your child.

    1. Ur callous comment is very insensitive, I am sure if u would have experienced the pain of having a child out of school u woud be singing a whole different tune.

    2. But it's factually true. And the truth is sometimes painful.

We have been saying this for years. Therefore it’s not our problem.
Sign a petition to force these parents to seek therapy.
    Major therapy.

    1. U have no idea what ur talking about. The reality is that not every school is made for every child as I am sure if ur not chasidesh u would not allow the vaad to place ur child in a chasidesh school so maybe u need therapy if ur not willing to send ur child to a chasidesh school. Ur just judging other people.

    2. The vaad has no say on the chasidish schools, so your comment is fake.

    3. He was trying to bring out a point. The vaad will place children in schools that they think the children will fit into. They aren't perfect and sometimes the parents who know their child better don't think that this school is good for their child.
The vaad means well and are working in a difficult situation, and should be commended for what they do. Schools are overcrowded and can't accept everyone who wants to come. The parents who feel so strongly that the school is so bad for their child should understand that they are on their own. If their stubbornness will eventually get them their way, then good for them. But quite possibly the child will suffer and the parents have themselves to blame.
Certainly schools should not have to stay closed until each stubborn parent gets their way.

    4. JB this is exactly what I meant I just used chaisdesh as an analogy.
I agree that the School Vaad deserves allot of credit for trying,But disagree with u that the parent should be on their own if they dodnt get into a school that's not made for their children we should just open more schools.

    5. They are not on their own. They are only on their own if they stubbornly refuse to take the vaads recommendation. They might be right about that, but nobody can be expected to cater to everyone's needs.
Anyone who says open more schools, obviously has no idea what opening a running a viable school is all about

  6. If Bais Faiga would open a feeding high school for 50% of its graduates, the problem would be solved. there would then be 150+ sports available in other high schools.

    1. Because they want to get state aid to pay for LSTA once they get the $$ they will be ok to shut down. :)

    2. Because thats what it takes to have normal healthy chidren.
The pandemic was over months ago. What are you waiting for ? For the government to announce it ? Good luck.

    3. LSTA owes parents credit for unused busing days for the 150 fee from last year. The busing can not dictate how schools should run its time for every school to have their own busses and not rely on other schedules

  8. It's about time for ever school to reiterate that those which were to states with high covid cases, cannot come to school until after 10-14 days. I know personally families that went to Florida and plan to send to school. Not sure why someone would want a school to close down, or others to get sick on their chesbon.

  9. The vaad controlled media suddenly reports about corona while ignoring it untill now and denying it. Why did askans give the green light for the panic button

    1. Don't worry, they are denying it again, they posted on twitter that a second school closed down a class then deleted the post. Guess they weren't ready.

  11. If all the money spent in Family Courts and getting Frum Yidden Arrested with restraining orders promoted and advocated by tha Litvishe Feminist Rabbonim would instead be diverted to Building new Schools there would be plenty of schools for children

Outrageous to put (1) and (2) both in the same sentence and category

If Lakewood had a policy of neither giving nor TAKING out of town Tzedoko I highly doubt it would come out ahead

    Whose idea was this?

At a time when we are facing consistent decreasing government influence and the a large percentage of America is becoming increasingly hostile towards our values, we really should not be wasting our political capital on people going to Uman.It wasn't an American decision so keep Trump out of this. Do we need to start an international fight over Uman?
