President Donald Trump tweeted earlier to say a prior before the vote to impeach him. The following prayer has been said by Jewish communities for millennia for the protection and blessing of leaders and Kings who's countries they lived in.

The Congress is the sovereign and most important branch of government. Why would you say a prayer for the executive to protect against the Congress?
ReplyDeleteYou may disagree with the Congress, but NEVER question its authority to serve as a check on the executive.
When the President becomes more important and more powerful that the legislature, we will not longer we will no longer be a republic. The consul will then be an emperor.
Our kids do not learn American history. There is no better argument why the state should not support their education. The republic will not endure without knowledge of its history.
Even though we hear that Americans do not remember their history, they know where power resides in our government and its checks and balances. Should they forget, they will be reminded of our constitution by patriots and scholars. However, in our community, these patriots and scholars will be written off as liberals and lefties.
Take for example FDR in 1937 trying to pack the Court. The American people turned against him. What would happen in our community had a favorable president tried the same?
