אבינו מלכנו חמול עלינו ועל עוללנו וטפנו

Update Erev Yom kippur 5780: There is approximately up to 30 girls still not in school as of Erev Yom Kippur. These girls are of high school age and elementary. How would the holy Rav Levi Yitzchok of Barditchev go into Yom Kippur knowing that these girls are suffering??

עשרת ימי תשובה and family girls still not in high  school.  Makes no different if its anyone's fault not a time to play the blame game. If nothing is done before  שבת  it will be pushed off until after sukkos. Just something to keep in mind as we daven every  day from now to Yom Kippur there are children who did not start the school year yet.

  1. It does make a difference who's fault it is. If the parents are at fault, then it's in them.

  3. This will stretch out to Chanukah since going away for sukkos is more important.

  4. My niece is regular genius 11 grade girl who parents are regular and Frum etc and pay tuition . Her high school closed down the 11 th grade and no one will take her . This is not the parents fault and not one person is picking up the phone and helping her . Its a chill Hashem of epic proportions and administrators and principals of the elementary and high schools have to get off their high horse of " my school has to be the IT school so people will want to come "and let kids in . IS this is a business that you have to stay open and make a parnassa or are you there to be mechanech Klal Yisroel?! I don't want to see one Rov or Roshei Hayeshiva protesting chill shabbos by lake in one year from now when TODAY THEY ARE SILENT !!! SICK SICK TOWN

    2. Who exactly do you blame for this ? Who is "the town" ? It'"s very sad, but nobody did anything wrong here, so stop whining about the town.

    1. Is that true?????

    2. Yes the Rosh yeshiva told this to someone this week they have no power or control over the mosdos specifically on acceptance

    3. That could mean absolutely nothing. Because they said they have no say, doesn't mean they actually have no say.

  7. Chilul Shabbos is rampant in Lakewood because of this problem.
Anyone that deals with these children or are family members know that the number of children Mechaleli Shabbos number over 100
    Many simply feel unwanted

    1. Is there any factual basis to that dumb comment?
My kid never had a problem getting into school/yeshiva yet today he doesnt keep shabbos, kinda throws ur blame game out the window

  8. The Mosdos may even seem right on a logical level, but when there are over 100 children Mechalelei Shabbos, they are dead wrong.

  9. School needs to be a happier place especially when it comes to weaker students.
That is where half of the problems start
