Chasanim should know and act responsible - There's nothing wrong with a 150.00 suit that probably won't fit you in a month you don't need to throw out all your clothing and get a new wardrobe and stock up for the next 5 years! Basics I'm fine with but the "King" sounds a bit too far something that always bothered me - watching kids clean out their parents...
