Rav Dovid was a noted marbitz Torah and brilliant talmid chochom who was fluent in all miktzaos HaTorah. His levaya will take place tomorrow at BM Chanichei Hayeshivos in Har Nof.

Minhag Belz waking up the crowds for Selichos
Anyone have any good sources for minhagwi belz? I feel like it’s one of the few chassiduses that is highly respected, emphasizes learning, and doesn’t have serious machlokes. Along with sanz klausmeburg and others I’m sure. But the belezer rebbe seems to get positive spotlight for his initiatives etc.

DeleteThe previous Belz rebbe had no kids. The current Belz Rebbe has only one son. That is the secret. Come back in later years when there will be multiple sons vying for the position.
