- Giyus: Nearly 30 charedi bochurim were detained today at Ben Gurion Airport since the morning hours on their way to Uman. They were arrested by the military police and transferred to Tel Hashomer. - FBI Director Kash Patel confirms DNA from the towel wrapped around the suspected assassination weapon — and from a screwdriver left on the UVU rooftop — both match the suspect already in custody.
- Lakewood has received only $3.3 million in lease payments from the BlueClaws over the past 25 years, despite spending $22 million in local UEZ tax dollars to build the stadium. According to the Asbury Park Press, the BlueClaws have full control over all events held there throughout the year and keep all revenue generated from them.
Meanwhile, the Cedarbridge development has contributed just $3.9 million in payments in lieu of taxes over the past seven years. Although the buildings are covered by a 30-year tax abatement, they still pay a small amount each year.
- Local pediatric practices are seeing an uptick in respiratory illnesses among children in the Lakewood area. In recent weeks, more young patients have been showing symptoms such as fever, cough, congestion, and difficulty breathing, which doctors say are consistent with seasonal respiratory viruses including RSV, rhinovirus, and parainfluenza.While most cases remain mild, pediatricians are urging parents to monitor symptoms closely as some have been hospitalized.

NJ might have more uninsured because NJ Medicaid is playing games with applicants. Taking months to consider the application, then timing it out and leaving folks without insurance.

Fact is there were thousands of ineligible people getting free coverage due to the pandemic. which ended. Who exactly lost coverage is made up by the politicians
DeleteIt might be worthy news that some Hot Shots like singer sit on the board of the Blue Claws Stadium in essence there's a reason why the township is so kind to the stadium while the stadium makes profit...... a while back they replaced the lighting in the stadium courtesy of the Lakewood taxpayer.....
