- The FBI is investigating social media posts by at least seven different accounts that “appeared to indicate foreknowledge of the ass*ssination of Charlie Kirk,” according to the Washington Free Beacon

- The Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi David Yosef, sent a condolence letter to the family of Charlie Kirk. He praised Kirk as a humble yet influential figure who stood for truth, justice, and the Jewish people, highlighting his efforts to support Israel and combat anti-Semitism. The Rabbi offered comfort to Kirk’s wife and children and said the Jewish people share in their grief.

- Giyus: Nearly 30 charedi bochurim were detained today at Ben Gurion Airport since the morning hours on their way to Uman. They were arrested by the military police and transferred to Tel Hashomer. In the coming hours, they will face trial or disciplinary proceedings. Expect higher numbers of deserter arrests at border crossings in the coming days. (M Weisberg)

- FBI Director Kash Patel confirms DNA from the towel wrapped around the suspected assassination weapon — and from a screwdriver left on the UVU rooftop — both match the suspect already in custody.

- Lakewood has received only $3.3 million in lease payments from the BlueClaws over the past 25 years, despite spending $22 million in local UEZ tax dollars to build the stadium. According to the Asbury Park Press, the BlueClaws have full control over all events held there throughout the year and keep all revenue generated from them.

Meanwhile, the Cedarbridge development has contributed just $3.9 million in payments in lieu of taxes over the past seven years. Although the buildings are covered by a 30-year tax abatement, they still pay a small amount each year.

- Local pediatric practices are seeing an uptick in respiratory illnesses among children in the Lakewood area. In recent weeks, more young patients have been showing symptoms such as fever, cough, congestion, and difficulty breathing, which doctors say are consistent with seasonal respiratory viruses including RSV, rhinovirus, and parainfluenza.While most cases remain mild, pediatricians are urging parents to monitor symptoms closely as some have been hospitalized.

The percentage of New Jersey residents without health insurance increased significantly from 2023 to 2024, with people living below the poverty level hardest hit, according to new census data. Uninsured rates in the Garden State jumped from 7.2% to 7.7%,
