-A flight  from Bucharest,Romania carrying hundreds of Yidden returning from Uman, has finally landed at JFK  less than two hours before the zman. School busses were on hand to take passengers home

- Power outages across areas of Lakewood near Jackson border areas of Manchester and Toms River JCP&L estimated restoration is 6:00pm

-Thousands of breslov chasidim stuck at European borders after leaving Uman, as flights back to Israel were postponed to Sunday. Some travelers managed to return just before Shabbos and were hosted by residents near the airport.  El Al  said they will operate a special rescue flight from Bucharest to Israel.

- Recently paved Lakewood township roads are  ripped up again in the James Pine st area as the gas company replaces meters and lines, this is months or weeks after the water company finished its work. Utility companies admit they do not coordinate with each other, and this lack of communication results in duplicated efforts and wasted resources. Township officials, for their part, have not issued any statements or taken responsibility resulting in wasted tax dollars, and freshly paved roads reduced to patchwork. #Chelm

-Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that on September 25, 2025, Tysan Davis, 36, of Lakewood, was charged with Aggravated Arson following a fire incident in Lakewood. Around 4:45 p.m., Lakewood police and firefighters responded to Fairway Villas, where they found smoldering clothing and a burning air-conditioner condenser. The fire was quickly extinguished by emergency personnel.
