  1. Is חל still חל today is is that yesterday's word

  2. Blaming the victim is unjust and not helpful. Additionally, even if the woman failed to express her distain at her boss's inappropriate behavior, she is asking after the fact. Now that regrettably the situation is such that there is a pirtza in gidrei tznius r'l should she leave her job in spite of the fact that he husband may have to leave Yeshiva to provide for the family?

    2. Who told you it wasn't at least in part her fault? Maybe dress a little more drab

    3. Even if it was the woman's fault the question is a valid one. Should a woman stay at a job where the gidrei tznius are compromised to afford her husband the opportunity to stay in kollel?

  3. Sad that he is unwilling or unable to see the obvious problem - women in the workplace, and the obvious solution - men in the workplace instead.

  4. I normally enjoy RGR’s answers very much. I recognize his stature as a TC and his tremendous talent too. I’m a big fan of his contrarian and entertaining approaches. However, on these first 2 I am quite disappointed.

On the first one, I do not believe that part of the requirement of absolute Bitachon and “loi Shevet Levi bilvad” is not to pop a Tylenol or ever go to a doctor. Maybe never pop any food in your mouth either?
I heard from a great Talmid Chacham who was there at the time, when a child of Maran RC”K z”l needed appendicitis surgery. Maran the Steipler z”l said not to do it. RC”K listened to the doctor and not his father. It turned out the doctor started the surgery and realized it was a mistake and not appendicitis and closed him up. The talmid chacham who was there asked RC”K if ch”v it something like this ever happened again, would he listen to his father? RC”K answered, mistama not.
The Steipler z”l himself said not to go to doctors unless one has no choice, i. e., one cannot handle the pain.

The 2nd clip, I am sorry to say is nivul peh. The woman should be answered privately.

The 3rd clip, b”H I have no idea what he is talking about. I actually have been told often that my writing ability in my seforim is excellent. I certainly know what “chal” means. However, I have no idea how it is being used here. It assuredly is not being used correctly.
Just when I thought the machrivei haTorah of today's Yeshivos, (with their gross changes from previous generations,) could not go any lower, there they go, r”n.

Clip #4. I am not caring much for the mashal. Most people that come with the $2 to the door are already bringing more than they can afford no matter what the story is. $2 three times a day at the door is $1,800 a year just at the door. Not everyone is on a cushy BMG family payroll and doesn’t understand this.
I, myself, stop the meshulach’s sob story, and tell him, you don’t want to hear my problems. It is not a contest, but I always win. If they push me to tell them my story, I never get halfway through before they start crying, throwing money at me and run away.

    I love you R”G.
